00:00It was just supposed to be a shortcut, a path through the nature reserve that sat like a green
00:06scar behind the football centre. We weren't even from the area, just some teenagers looking for
00:12snacks, a place to chill, maybe even kick a few footballs around. But I can still hear her voice,
00:21raw and panicked, cutting through the trees. We thought it was a prank, or worse, a trap.
00:28But the moment she screamed like her throat was splitting, something inside us broke.
00:34We ran like hell, most of us didn't look back. We told ourselves it was just a one-off,
00:40a stranger, a lunatic. But I still walk past there sometimes, still feel watched,
