On the 4th of July, four friends embark on a journey to a secluded Oregon cabin for fireworks, fun, and freedom. But as night falls and the sky erupts in color, something in the woods begins to stir. Tall, pale figures. Whispered voices. A smile caught on a trail cam that shouldn't have been there. This holiday wasn’t just about celebration… it was about survival. Some traditions never die—but some are waiting to be born in the dark.

00:00We thought fireworks would scare off the wildlife. Turns out, they just brought something closer.
00:07Jared's cabin was a solitary island in the Oregon woods.
00:11No cell service, no neighbors. Perfect for a holiday getaway.
00:16By dusk, we had a bonfire roaring and cheap beers sweating in our hands.
00:22The sky cracked open with color and music echoed through the trees,
00:27the only signs of life in the vast, silent wilderness.
00:31But then the forest changed. No wind, no bugs, no sound at all.
00:38Kayla, who had gone to pee behind a tree, returned with a sudden change in her demeanor.
00:44She was pale, as if she had seen a ghost. She claimed to have heard her name whispered.
00:50Our laughter was strained, the unease now palpable, creeping in like a shadow in the moonlight.
00:59But when the trail cam footage revealed what smiled back at us later that night,
01:05it slowly dawned on us, sinking in like a heavy fog, that this was no laughing matter.
01:11This was real, and it was terrifying, and it wasn't human.
