00:03The company behind the Pokemon games is bringing us this great looking new game and it's not

00:08coming to a Nintendo platform at all.

00:10Not sure in what timeline I just got pushed, but here we go.

00:13This is Game Freak's new game, Beast of Reincarnation, which was formally announced as codenamed

00:18Project Bloom.

00:19It's a bold new direction for the company that is not your typical monster-catching adventure

00:23but plays in a post-apocalyptic Japan overrun by corruption and terrifying beasts.

00:27You will take on the role of Emma, a cursed outcast known as a Blighted One.

00:31Alongside her loyal canine companion, their journey is a fight for survival across a constantly

00:35changing world.

00:36Dangerous forests can suddenly erupt in the wasteland and as you brave the unknown, the

00:40bond between the characters grows and you will unlock strange new powers for Emma.

00:44The game blends intense technical combat with themes of nature's revival, as Emma appears

00:48to have the ability to create new life to help her explore.

00:51It's a pretty dark, expansive adventure, very unlike the other Game Freak titles, and even

00:56looks quite modern despite the low FPS.

00:58Beast of Reincarnation is coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2026.
