00:00Okay, so can you share with us what the exhibit is all about?
00:05So, Diwa Desenyo is, we're having this collaboration with local artists where we collaborate on stools.
00:14So, Diwa Desenyo designs the stools and we collab with selected artists, local artists, where they will be painting on the stools.
00:23And we kind of like showcase it as like a collector's item piece.
00:29So, there are 16 artists and then there are 15 stools.
00:32So, that's the whole event theme of Guapara that we wanted to achieve in this exhibition.
00:39Now, what was the reason behind the show piece of stools?
00:43Because I think a lot of people with the stools go, it's just a niche, I guess, form of art, you know.
00:50So, what's the reason behind that?
00:52I feel like we decided to pick these stools because we wanted to, it was the best way to showcase functionality and art where we blend the two together.
01:05Where we could use it as its main purpose while also having that form of appearance and look where you can display it.
01:15And at the same time, you know, we can use it as like a functional piece.
01:18So, I feel like we, that's why we decided to do the stools itself.
01:23So, it's like blending artistry and something that's right around you.
01:27Exactly.
01:28Exactly.
01:29How about the selection process, like choosing the 16 artists, right?
01:33Yes, right.
01:34So, there are 16 artists and then 15 stools.
01:37And it was my godmother, her name is Sigwada Nicolai, she's also an artist.
01:43She was, she's the event curator of this event, this exhibition and she was the one who gathered all these artists, different art styles.
01:53And with the stools, I wanted to design three different stools with three different inspirations so it can kind of like blend with the artists and their work.
02:04So, she was the one who gathered the shortlist artist.
02:07Oh, cool.
02:08And yeah, it's like a wide range of them.
02:10Oh, and what was her selection process, do you think?
02:14Yeah, selection process and terms of...
02:16Oh, the artists.
02:17And it was, it was more on Sigwada's side.
02:22She was the event curator.
02:24So, she just proposed the idea of shortlisting the artists that she thought, she believed that would work for this exhibition and the stools itself.
02:36So, she was the one who assigned the stools to the artists based on their art style and based on the design as well.
02:42Which agency, which area she was evaluating in was.
02:46She thought, was that it does not cool.
02:48She's an artist.
02:49trajectory just came from a switch.
02:50With the art style you are going to play art style, that would work to be paved.
02:53This is the same, easier, is something the first step we got to do with.
02:55story.
03:00Which woman, by the way, we have one
