00:00The Stars fired DeBoer today, and it doesn't take long when the players turn on you
00:08and you've thrown your superstar goalie under the bus and then, as you said,
00:14drove the axles over his head forward and backward twice, that he was going to get fired.
00:22And, in fact, I said to you, I think, I'm surprised they haven't fired him already.
00:26I can't believe he lasted until today.
00:28You know, the Dallas Stars owner actually is from Vancouver, just for the record,
00:35but the Dallas Stars owner, he's not shy of publicly, like, ripping the GM, coaches, players in the past,
00:44not in a George Steinbrenner circus-type way, but they're getting frustrated.
00:49They want to win.
00:50Like, they spend a lot of money on players.
00:51They do whatever it takes.
00:52It's a first-class organization, and they keep falling short.
00:55It causes problems, Scott.
00:58I didn't like it when they didn't play, when Brendan Moore took Anderson out of the game,
01:02except when he started, you know, and he blamed Anderson, and he went back to him after,
01:07and it was like, dude, what are you doing here?
01:09Like, you're just looking for a scapegoat.
01:11And Anderson doesn't have anywhere near the credibility that Audinger has in that room.
01:16I'm talking about a Stanley Cup goalie.
01:19To do what you did to him is one thing, right?
01:23Like, on the ice, you humiliated him.
01:25You pulled him that quickly in a critical game seven, fine.
01:30Okay.
01:31But you humiliated him.
01:32But then after the game, to throw him under the bus the way you did, and you brought it up,
01:36there really wasn't any turning back, was there, from that?
01:40What are you going to do?
01:40Like, it's because, for people to put it in a question, it's like the coach ripping the star quarterback after, right?
01:49It's been there forever, and just saying, well, what do you want?
01:51He's won in six against the Dolphins, you know, and we talked about it as a coaching staff.
01:57We weren't going to let it happen again.
01:58Like, that was the line, too.
02:01Like, that was the line, what he said.
02:03We discussed it as a coaching staff that if things went poorly, the status quo wasn't going to be good enough.
02:09So, in other words, you admitted that you and your coaches were sitting in a room talking about how bad you think audience is.
02:17Yeah, planning, planning, planning how they were going to get to the Jenkins.
02:21Yeah.
02:22Instead of saying, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing, I shouldn't have done, I got caught up in a moment.
02:27He's like, no, no, we talked about this before the game.
