00:00I'm trying to figure out where our patience level, like what does that really mean?

00:06Because if the Bears come out and they're three and six, but it feels better than last year,

00:14are we supposed to be like, okay, this is his first year, it's okay,

00:18everything seems to be heading in the right direction?

00:20Because I think that Caleb Williams has to be good this year, has to be good this year,

00:28which I would think would mean that the Bears would be good.

00:31But if he's not showing it pretty quickly this year?

00:36That's a good question.

00:37I think he comes out, and let's just say he's averaging about 250 yards per game or so,

00:46maybe a little less I would even give him, but somewhere in that territory,

00:51I wouldn't expect that he would be throwing many intercepts because that was not part of his story last year.

00:57I think it was, what, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions.

01:00So continuing to be careful with the football like he has, more yards, more downfield passing, more accuracy.

01:08I think that's sort of how it looks for me.

01:11I think those numbers are fair, those expectations.

01:13He threw for over 3,500 yards, 20 touchdowns, six interceptions, did a really good job of protecting the football.

01:19And going into this season, we know that his offensive line will be a heck of a lot better.

01:23He has arguably a better set of playmakers, as they like to say, to get the football to.

01:33We can only hope that the defense is better, and a healthy Andrew Billings will help that.

01:38I thought that the loss of Billings six, seven games in the last season really derailed the way the defense was playing

01:44because suddenly they couldn't stop the run, and then they couldn't stop anything.

01:47And throw Brisker in there, too.

01:50So I think your expectations of Caleb Williams are spot on, and you're right.

01:56He should throw for 250 a game, especially with a guy like Ben Johnson calling the plays.
