“In safe hands”, Hina Khan lauds milestone developments achieved by India under PM Modi’s leadership

Mumbai, June 06, 2025 (ANI) : Speaking on the transformation brought in the last 11 years in India, under the leadership of PM Modi,  cancer survivor and actor Hina Khan said "There are major transformations. Today's India is powerful. Be it infrastructure, space, technology, medicine, Ayushman Bharat, poverty reduction, defence or economy, we are better than before in every sector...Today, India is the fourth-largest economy. She also praised PM Modi’s ‘Ayushman Bharat’ vision. On her battle with cancer, Hina Khan said “We consulted with the best doctors of the best hospitals in the world when I was diagnosed. They told us that everything is available in India for cases like mine. We also consulted with the top doctors of India, they say that they are also connected internationally...There is a protocol to treat cancer, which is the same worldwide...Today, we get world-class facilities in India."

00:30Today, India is one of the best healthcare services in the world. What do you will say about Indian health care?

01:00There is everything available. Everything. Plus, we have talked about the top doctors of India.

01:05They all say that they are internationally so much connected.

01:09If you don't know, Tata Hospital is connected. It is affiliated with MD Anderson,

01:14which is one of the best cancer hospitals in the world.

01:19We have some friends who have treated us in India.

01:24They have also said that there is a good treatment here.

01:29And to be honest, what is cancer? There is a protocol for it.

01:37And it is the same protocol worldwide. It doesn't change anywhere.

01:42That's why I don't think that in India there is no problem.

01:48And to be honest, I don't think that in India there are world-class things.

01:56We have second independent labs that are patented tests as per world standards like liquid biopsy,

02:04generics, tumor insights and a lot of other tests.

02:09And one more thing I want to ask. As you said, that in India the service is really better.
