00:00So the plot of the bangers and chips explosion is about a school, St Gertrude's primary school,
00:05which is just like a normal primary school anywhere in the world where the young people
00:08go on strike because the nasty dinner lady, Mrs Gunge, isn't making them any chips.
00:14The very inept headteacher decides to solve this problem by putting an advert in the local paper
00:19for some new cooks. The local paper, however, aren't very good at proofreading
00:24and they put an advert in for some crooks who turn up one day at the school
00:28to start cooking chips thinking that they are going to be earning lots of money
00:34and there's some kind of big job going down.
00:36You can imagine their disappointment and their reaction is to kidnap all the children
00:41because they realise all the children have money.
00:46And the play follows the madcap adventures of trying to rescue the children
00:52from the hands of these nasty crooks.
00:55And do the children get their chips in the end?
00:57Oh, they get their chips and some.
00:59But yeah, it's such an exciting and funny play
01:02and we'll be looking forward to putting it on.
