On "Forbes Newsroom," Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) responded to Elon Musk's attacks on the Big Beautiful Bill.

00:00Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, according to Forbes.

00:04He also was working as a special government employee up until last week,

00:09and he said this about the bill, quote,

00:11I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore.

00:13This massive outrageous pork-filled congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.

00:18Shame on those who voted for it.

00:19You know you did wrong. You know it.

00:21What are your thoughts on this break from Elon Musk,

00:24and do you think this is going to move the needle at all in the Senate?

00:27Well, it's rare that I find myself agreeing with Elon Musk this year,

00:32but I happen to agree with him.

00:34Shame on my Republican colleagues who voted for this bill.

00:37And, you know, again, we cannot pass this bill.

00:40People are going to die. People are going to lose their jobs.

00:44The economy is going to tank, and America is not going to be strong.

00:48It's not going to be great again.

00:49America is going to be weaker and sicker,

00:51and it will be thanks to President Trump and this bill and the Republicans who vote for it.
