The LG vision AI Mobilty Concept can track everything from your heart rate and posture to your gaze and even your mood. It can also tell if you’ve picked up your phone and spits out a driving score. I’m intrigued but also a bit freaked out.

00:00Hey guys we're here at the LG booth at CES 2025 and we're looking at a vision
00:10mobility concept. So it's using AI and the idea is that when you're driving a
00:15lot of us when we're driving today like we'll get like little pings if we go
00:18outside of our lane. This goes way way beyond that. So imagine if your cockpit
00:23could actually tell you if you were in a good mood, if you were actually paying
00:26attention to the road or if you were picking up your phone. It could also
00:29sense your heart rate and it'll tell you if you like you're happy or you're
00:33neutral based on your facial expressions. All of this is happening in real time as
00:37you're driving. Now it might seem a little bit creepy but at the end of my driving
00:41experience I got a score. So imagine like down the road that something this could
00:45be tied into let's say your insurance and like how well you're doing if you've
00:49signed up for that or if you opted in. So the possibilities are endless in terms of
00:53how this could be used but again this is just a concept. While I was driving on
00:57the inside of this cockpit when I started I just like looked at the screen so
01:00there's eye detection built in. So I could choose which route I wanted to take based
01:04on where I was looking and it gives you a sense of how good the sensors are
01:08working. Once I started driving it could tell whether or not I had my hands on the
01:12steering wheel or if I pretended to take a phone call I could see in the bottom
01:16right hand corner that that was not a good thing to do. So as you can see here
01:20like this gives you a real-time view of what's happening with the Vision AI
01:23mobility concept. So you have a couple of drivers here you can see the gaze
01:26detection there's even like a 3d skeleton there. You have a sense of their heart
01:33status which is pretty interesting. Their stress level mine was pretty low which I
01:37guess is good even though I was doing a good job driving. There's a safety distance
01:42built in so there's all sorts of like sensors that are built into this cockpit to
01:47tell you how safe you are as a driver. So overall I'm actually pretty impressed with the
01:53Vision AI mobility concept because it senses all sorts of things. How well
01:57you're doing as a driver and I think it could take our safety to the next level
02:01without being too intrusive. Ultimately that's up to you but I like the idea of
02:06something that has my back when I'm driving. For more CES 2025 videos make
