00:00Okay, the AirPods Pro 2 dropped back in 2022. You guys saw it. I was there. But at this point,

00:05we're waiting on something new. It's looking like the AirPods Pro 3 might finally be coming.

00:11So let's talk about what to expect. Let me start with the release timeline. Based on Apple's usual

00:16calendar, I could argue that we should have already seen the AirPods Pro 3. But instead,

00:21we just got that USB-C refresh back in 2023. But some insiders are now pointing to a late 2025

00:27launch, aka during the iPhone 17 event in September. Or maybe never. Kidding, but barely.

00:34Price-wise, don't expect too many surprises. The AirPods Pro have been locked in at $250

00:39since day one. And the competition, like Sony and Bose, have actually raised their prices in the

00:45meantime. So unless Apple wants to match them, $250 is probably still the sweet spot to expect.

00:52But tariffs are throwing all sorts of price increase speculations across the entire

00:56consumer technology industry. And the fact that the AirPods 4 with ANC costs $179,

01:03that might be giving Apple some wiggle room. Now into the fun stuff, the features. First up,

01:08I think a heart rate monitor is a no-brainer. Not only is Apple on this big health-centric mission,

01:13but there are all sorts of quotes out there from execs talking about how they believe Apple can have

01:18such a big impact in health. But the fact that the PowerBeats Pro 2 has this feature makes me think

01:23the Pros are just guaranteed to get them next. Whether rumors about also getting temperature

01:28sensors will materialize and take health tracking to even a higher level, well, TBD.

01:34From a design standpoint, there's this rumor about a touchscreen on the AirPods Pro 3 case.

01:39Personally, I'm not sold. Like, am I really going to pull out the case to skip a track when my iPhone

01:45is just always in my hand? And yeah, there's even this talk about camera-equipped AirPods out there.

01:50Did you see that? I don't know. It's probably for a future version. I think I saw the word 2026

01:55thrown around there. Or maybe it'll just be something that pairs with Apple's smart glasses.

02:00I don't know. I just don't think AirPods are there yet. There are other brands being a little bit

02:04more ambitious with rethinking how you use your earbuds. But AirPods are so popular for a reason.

02:11A lot of that is that simplicity and basic conveniences. So now let's talk about performance.

02:15Apple is expected to debut a new H3 connectivity chip, which could mean a couple of different

02:21things. Better ANC, more battery life, a longer connection range, and possibly improve sound

02:26quality. Of all of those, battery life is for sure the big one for me. I'd love to see eight hours of

02:33listening time from the buds and at least 30 extra hours from the case. That would put them just a

02:38little bit ahead of what Sony and Bose's flagships currently offer. And if they make the audio more

02:43dynamic on top of that, even better. I'm sure we're going to hear a lot more as we get closer

02:49to AirPods Pro 3 making this rumored expected debut. But from what I've been hearing, they're

02:55shaping up to be more than just a refresh. That makes me so excited because I love my AirPod Pro 2s.

03:02I use them all the time. I myself have probably bought six or seven pairs over the years for gifts

03:07for people. I recommend them all the time because it's true. They're the complete package.

03:12Or maybe I should say they definitely were. I do think they are starting to show their age. So

03:18whether it's sensors, screens, or a smarter chip, hopefully Apple has a way to spark the hype again.

03:24But the real question is, what would you want in the next AirPods Pro? Better battery, more health
