00:00Well, Kim Zolciak, I know I have such trouble with her name, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Bierman,
00:06we know, of course, their money problems have been well documented.
00:10Yeah, big time.
00:11Bankruptcy papers.
00:12Right. They're selling clothing. I mean, it's a mess.
00:16It goes even deeper because we just heard a new tale of their financial ruin,
00:22and it comes from their daughter, Ariana, who is now in her early 20s.
00:26I think she's 23, and she's been making money since she was a teenager,
00:31since she was 14, just from being a social media influencer.
00:35She had brand deals, was making good money, especially for a teenager.
00:39Right, of course.
00:39The problem, she says, and she said this on the new Bravo show, Next Gen NYC,
00:46all that money is gone.
00:48Unfortunately, my parents took my money.
00:52I can't say exactly what they used it on because I just found out that it was gone two years ago.
00:59Do you have any idea roughly how much money?
01:02I don't even know how much money I made over the time period.
01:05Nobody was honest. There was no transparency.
01:07And I have no idea where it actually went.
01:10I wish I would have been kept in the light about it because I feel like I was grown enough to know the truth,
01:14to know there is nothing left.
01:17Our house is about to be gone instead of the lying.
01:20I get it because the lying is why I moved out.
01:22The thing that we do honestly struggle with sometimes is when my mom does call me and ask me for money now.
01:28That's where I get upset.
01:29And this is what's really interesting here is that what would her storyline be on this show
01:34without talking about her famous parents, right?
01:38Makes you wonder if this is really the case.
01:40What's interesting is we haven't heard from Kim McRoy.
01:43This was made on the show last night.
01:45They've had several hours to respond.
01:46They haven't necessarily denied it.
01:48So I don't know.
01:50To me, it's a new show on Bravo.
01:51They're trying to keep the show relevant.
01:53They're trying to keep the ratings up.
01:54The part that shocked me, Brendan, was when she said, when my mom calls me now,
01:58the fact that she's saying that Kim is still calling her for money?
02:01What's interesting here is their daughter is dating the son of a billionaire.
02:07This guy, her boyfriend's parents, or dad at least, is one of the owners of Zaxby's, the chicken company.
02:14He's a billionaire.
02:14Is it Ariana's money or is it the boyfriend's parents' money?
02:21Who's sending the money to Kim and Croy?
02:23I'm Simone from Atlanta and not Ariana turning into Kim's new big papa.
02:28It's giving major honey boo boo 2.0 vibes.
02:31I mean, kid influencers should never be their parents' retirement plan or main source of income.
02:38So when are we going to start holding these parents accountable, like legally?
02:42Because in the influencer world, what they're doing is pure exploitation.
02:46And if anyone else pulled this, it'd be child abuse or financial theft.
02:50Yeah, I mean, in California, there are laws against this for child actors that prevent parents from doing what Ariana claims her parents do.
02:59I wonder if it could apply to social media.
03:01It doesn't.
03:02Oh, all right.
03:02No, but maybe that's something that'll change.
