If northerners were paid an extra one hundred quid, how would they honestly spend it?

With household bills increasing by £36 million this year nationally,  how would you honestly spend an extra hundred pounds if you were paid it?

00:25the confidence to be able to make a repair to them instead of leaving them to get more worn out

00:32until I would have to buy a new set of shoes.

00:34But I assume that repairs and servicing debt would be the main thing people would spend it on.

00:41It would probably go on clothes, I think.

00:45Yeah, to be fair, I do need some new clothes.

00:47Or putting it away, I suppose, in savings a little bit.

00:49Yeah.

00:50I'd do 50 on getting nice things for myself or things I've wanted,

00:55and then maybe 50 put it away and keep it.

00:57I think that's probably what I would do.
