00:00The point that you've made previously about the speed of funding and Karwin alluded to, I'll use the term lag there in regards to funding.
00:08Just in your answer, if you could touch on that side of it and your frustrations in terms of seeing that in terms of slower delivery because of lag.
00:18Yeah, I think, you know, it's nice to see the Kumilam project coming forward because, you know, confidence will grow with other projects.
00:26I think it would be like a snowball effect. Anything with public money, you're going to have that lag anyway, probably some anyway.
00:34But things are definitely going in the right direction. And, you know, it's a job really with regards to investment you're putting into it.
00:41How does that equate to jobs? What Karwin mentioned, you know, whether you're guaranteed a thousand jobs and, you know, it's just a hundred jobs at the moment.
00:49But you've got that multiplayer effect with other small businesses that will benefit them, whether it's Caffey in the area or whatever or different suppliers.
01:00You know, we'll always have the argument that things move slowly anyway, Sam.
01:05But that's just the nature of public money anyway.
01:08But, you know, with regards to the projects going on to the next stage, we've got to be sure as board members that they're ready to progress as well.
01:19And, you know, we do scrutinize ourselves, as I mentioned earlier.
01:23And to me, that scrutiny is a good thing anyway.
01:25OK. And Karwin alluded to that he was confident sort of going forward.
01:29In terms of your position, how confident are you that you can deliver on the intended impacts of the growth deal over the next seven years?
01:38It's a job to put figures down to it.
01:42But I think it will be better than what the figures forecast at the moment, I think.
01:47Again, it's down to the confidence that other people see in these projects as well anyway.
01:51And I think hopefully, you know, I did mention recruitment.
01:57If these projects, you know, if a lot of jobs come because of them, you know, this is where the STP comes into it as well anyway.
02:05So, should we be building more houses in sort of rural areas because a company is very predictive and, you know, if that company is going to increase its people work for them anyway.
02:23And, you know, it all links together anyway, which is the whole purpose of these partnerships.
02:28OK. Thank you, Brian.
02:29Jake, coming to you, obviously.
