00:31It works every time. Try it, it's pure wizardry.
00:35Trick two.
00:36Multiplying any two-digit number by eleven is a breeze.
00:40Let's say you have twenty-three.
00:41Split the digits, that's two and three.
00:43Add them up, two plus three is five.
00:45Stick that sum between the two and three and you get two fifty-three.
00:49That's twenty-three times eleven.
00:50All in your head.
00:52Your friends will think you've got a secret superpower.
00:55Third up.
00:56Tell someone to multiply any number by nine.
00:58Say, seven times nine.
01:01And the digits of the answer always add up to nine.
01:04Seven times nine is sixty-three.
01:06Six plus three is nine.
01:08Try it with any number and watch their faces light up when it works every single time.
01:12Fourth trick.
01:14Ask your friend for their birth month as a number.
01:16Multiply it by five, add six.
01:18Multiply by four, add nine.
01:19Multiply by five again.
01:21And finally add their birthday.
01:23They'll hand you a big number.
01:24Subtract one hundred and sixty-five and BAM!
01:27The first two digits are their birth month.
01:29The last two are their birthday.
01:30You're basically a maths detective now.
01:33Last one.
01:34Have your friend pick any number from one to ten and secretly double it.
