The state of public transport in Sheffield
Transcript
00:00And what do you think of the current transport situation, Sheffield?
00:04Well, our bus is the number 43.
00:08On stage course.
00:12Where we live, it's idle bus stops around the corner.
00:17But unfortunately, when you get to town, it goes round the roundabout and down towards the old pennings on the street.
00:26And it's a lot more, I used to stay in the room.
00:30It's a lot more to get in touch with this part of the area.
00:35You know, and I think it would have been better if we could have elected to write on the cocaine and accused.
00:44So when do you think the Sheffield Council can use this 1.5 billion that they've been given by the government to improve the transport in Sheffield?
00:51Would you like to see more buses or more trains?
00:53No, and I, for my own cheaper use, I'd like to be able to have better access into the centre of Sheffield.
01:02You know, and also, it's all right. I mean, this is great for people who have no ability to have issues.
01:12There's a lot of people that I know that don't come to Sheffield.
01:17I mean, for me, I feel like despite being stagecoach and first bus app, the tracking isn't always correct.
01:26So it's happened sometimes where I'm waiting 10 minutes for a bus that'll be due and then I end up getting late somewhere.
01:32Tram-wise, I feel like it's pretty consistent, so that's all right. It's just the buses aren't reliable, Tom.
01:39I sometimes face the same problems as that. Like, I find the tram very good, the buses aren't reliable.
01:45But when I did, when I first came here, I tried to get like a card or something to use transport.
01:51I found that very hard to do and complete, so that was annoying.
01:55Okay, so an improvement on accessible, like being able to apply to things.
02:00Yeah, yeah.
