00:00Previously on The Valley.
00:06Going on a trip.
00:07Hey!
00:08What's up, guys?
00:09What's up, brother?
00:15I took it off.
00:16I really hate straight people sometimes.
00:18You're a disaster.
00:20And you're a hunker, so...
00:21I'm the mother of your child!
00:27He's very sweet-deprived.
00:29We know dark side Danny.
00:31Halloween last year,
00:32we were all at Jax's bar,
00:34and Danny definitely had a little too much to drink.
00:36He grabbed my thigh
00:38and grabbed Melissa's ass, too.
00:41I can't do so much.
00:43My husband, we have,
00:44and, like, my own friends, like, had to, like...
00:46Like, I can't even act like their husband's drunk
00:48for one night,
00:49so you have to attack me
00:50because you're going through something.
00:52Michelle and I are the most sane people
00:54in this whole house right now.
00:56Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
00:58Hold on.
00:59What do you need me to do?
01:00Hold on. Hold on.
01:01Think about the times you have protected Jax
01:03when you shouldn't have.
01:04It's not that, Zach.
01:05I'm not protecting anybody.
01:06Hold on.
01:07What Bridie said is that her life has been on display...
01:09I agree.
01:10...always on a max every thing,
01:12and the one time she's just questioning
01:14one little thing about somebody else's thing...
01:17It's like, oh, can't talk about it.
01:18It gets shut down.
01:20She's looking bad.
01:21I'm showing my entire life.
01:24What is happening?
01:25Why are my friends speaking about me behind my back?
01:28This doesn't feel like true friendship right now.
01:31Like, real friends don't do this.
01:33Tonight, when you were asked about Daniel,
01:35you were like, he's sleeping.
01:36He's taking an nap.
01:37Yeah, because he is exhausted,
01:38and yes, he was drunk.
01:39No, you didn't say drunk.
01:40He said he's taking an nap.
01:41No, I didn't say that.
01:42You're right.
01:43Nia, should we get Danny or what?
01:44He will not get out of bed.
01:45He's just out.
01:46He's exhausted.
01:47He's very sleep deprived.
01:49He needs to catch up.
01:50Be more honest.
01:51Like, can someone not be both?
01:53Can two things not be true?
01:54I think the reason I'm so worked up
01:56and I'm, like, a part of me can't let it go
01:58is just because, you know,
01:59I've dealt with dark side Danny before.
02:01So, Brittany, did you never have moments
02:03where you said, oh, Jax is whatever?
02:05Of course.
02:06It's not just, like, the action.
02:07It's the disappointment and the disrespect
02:09from a friend.
02:10Those feelings just don't go away overnight.
02:12Nia, you've got to acknowledge what's going on here.
02:14You know, you can't just, like,
02:15put your hand in the sand and, like,
02:16oh, nothing's happening.
02:18Oh, Daniel's awake.
02:19I know.
02:20It's like, Daniel's sleeping, whatever.
02:21Awesome.
02:22I'm just saying, that's what it felt.
02:23And I'm having Brittany's back
02:24because everybody doesn't want
02:25to have her back in this moment.
02:26It's like...
02:27We do have Brittany's back.
02:28Yes.
02:29No, wait, hold on.
02:30You just felt like it sucked
02:31to have her pain.
02:32No, no, no.
02:33No, Daniel.
02:34Oh, my God.
02:35Wait.
02:36She's just saying it's not fair
02:37that she puts her laugh
02:38at every little dot to the toe.
02:41And, like, other people don't do it.
02:43Don't do it.
02:46What is going on here?
02:48So we can talk about it and explain it.
02:50Just don't hide, like,
02:51actual things that are going on.
02:52Exactly.
02:53Like, it's all in my room.
02:54Okay.
02:55Daniel, we can have a conversation
02:56and explain everything.
02:57Is this point to me?
02:58Yes, to you.
02:59And me.
03:00We can have a whole conversation
03:01in the kitchen or whatever.
03:02Just, like, it's a lot of energy going on in here.
03:06Wow.
03:07Yeah.
03:08Holy cow.
03:09Okay.
03:10I'm just going to take a second
03:11and rub some water.
03:12Her life has been on the line
03:13like a platter.
03:14But I love you and I hear you
03:15and I understand.
03:16Yes, thank you.
03:17I love you too.
03:18I'm not trying to, like, yell at you.
03:19Her life has been on a platter,
03:20like, slaughtered here,
03:21and everybody else is, like,
03:22tit-toeing around their lives.
03:23That's the problem.
03:24You don't need to have an energy drink
03:25when you have to go to bed
03:26and we have kids to wake up
03:27in the morning.
03:28Energy drink?
03:29What are you talking about?
03:32Nia.
03:33What?
03:34You not know what I just experienced
03:36right now?
03:37I have no idea.
03:40What is happening?
03:42I just need a second to breathe.
03:44Because, like,
03:45I feel like there's a lot of adrenaline
03:47in my body
03:48and it's a little overwhelming.
03:57I don't really want to be, like,
03:58super consoled right now.
03:59I just need to, like,
04:00get it out, like...
04:03get it out.
04:06So, long story short,
04:07they said Nia's, like, lying,
04:09like she's keeping secrets,
04:10saying that I didn't say
04:12Daniel had too much to drink
04:13and he's passed out drunk,
04:14but I'm like,
04:15two things can be true.
04:16No, no,
04:17you did have too much to drink
04:18and you fell asleep
04:19and that's good for you.
04:20You need the sleep.
04:21You're exhausted.
04:22You did get home at 11 o'clock at night
04:24and wake up at 5 a.m.
04:25and work a full day of work
04:26and then get here
04:27and join our group
04:28and, yes, you had a little bit
04:29too much to drink.
04:30No one once said,
04:31Nia, hasn't Daniel had a little bit
04:32too much to drink?
04:33Is that part of it, too?
04:34I would've been like,
04:35yeah, of course,
04:36but, like, also he's tired
04:37because that is part of it.
04:38You had too much to drink,
04:39you fell asleep, that's fine.
04:40Why do you keep saying
04:41I've had too much to drink?
04:42I had the same amount of drink
04:43everybody at the winery
04:44and less.
04:45Daniel, you were feeling good.
04:46Yes.
04:47So own it.
04:48That is what it is.
04:49Exactly.
04:51Food was fantastic.
04:52I cannot wait to, like,
04:53eat later.
04:54I tried to finish all of the ice cream
04:55because everyone else was full.
04:56I only got through, like,
04:57ten of them.
04:58I'm getting in the hot tub.
04:59Ugh.
05:00Yeah, same.
05:01We're gonna go in the hot tub.
05:02Well, this went well.
05:04Good times.
05:07Before dinner,
05:08I got home
05:09and I walked into the pantry
05:10to make an Easy Mac cup.
05:11Yes.
05:12Danny came in
05:13and shut the door behind.
05:14Need a snack.
05:16He and I were in the pantry together
05:21and I was like,
05:22and then he came
05:23and took a swig
05:24of a Casamigos bottle
05:26and I was like,
05:27oh.
05:28And then he passed out
05:29shortly after.
05:30Like, we know he has
05:31a drinking problem.
05:32We get that.
05:33But, like, just talk to us about it.
05:34I feel bad for her
05:35because, you know,
05:36defending your husband
05:37when they're doing stuff
05:39or, like,
05:40when your husband's wasted
05:41or whatever,
05:42that's not fun.
05:43I've been with somebody
05:44in the past
05:45that has struggled
05:46with addiction issues.
05:47And I feel like
05:48I can relate to Nia
05:49in that sense.
05:50I heard
05:52that Nia's been
05:53in Al-Anon
05:54for this issue.
05:55I mean,
05:56I went to Al-Anon.
05:57I think it's a great support group.
05:58If she's going to that,
05:59that's great.
06:00Just say what it is
06:02because when you hide it,
06:03it kind of begs more questions.
06:06Brittany knows I support her.
06:08I'm not sitting here
06:09having fun
06:10talking about Jax
06:12and, like,
06:13all that he's doing.
06:14We could do that
06:15all day, every day.
06:16No, let me finish a sentence.
06:17We're not trying to do that,
06:18Daniel.
06:19Let me finish a sentence.
06:20Yeah, I'm not your enemy.
06:21Let me finish a sentence.
06:22I'm not sitting here
06:23trying to talk bad about Jax.
06:24I'm sitting here
06:25trying to support my friend.
06:26And if I, for some reason,
06:27have a problem with her,
06:28I come to her and say,
06:29hey Brittany,
06:30like, this is how I'm feeling.
06:31You know,
06:32I don't just, like,
06:33wait till she walks away
06:34and talk bad about her.
06:35Right.
06:36It's just the most hurtful part.
06:39Yeah.
06:40Every relationship is different.
06:42Daniel and I are
06:43a little more reserved.
06:44We're a team.
06:45We watch out for each other.
06:46We protect each other.
06:47We don't air our dirty laundry.
06:49We have those conversations
06:50behind closed doors.
06:51Oh.
06:52Sorry, baby.
06:54We are human
06:55and we have problems.
06:56We do also work really hard
06:58on our marriage
06:59when those problems arise.
07:00It does not need to be
07:01anybody else's problem.
07:03You can hug me.
07:09Sorry.
07:13I also feel like
07:14we all need to be like,
07:15hey,
07:16if you're going through
07:17some stuff with Daniel
07:18because of his drinking,
07:19we're also here for you.
07:20Of course.
07:21You know?
07:22Of course.
07:23That's not fun or easy.
07:24Yeah.
07:33Luke.
07:34Yes, dear.
07:35I feel sleepy and, like,
07:36a little dehydrated.
07:37Do you have anything for that?
07:50Yes.
07:51Hi.
07:52Morning.
07:53How are you feeling
07:54after last night?
07:55I don't exactly know
07:56what happened,
07:57but I heard.
07:58I'm, like, scared
07:59to go in the kitchen.
08:00I feel like,
08:01since we only have, like,
08:0230 minutes,
08:03we've got to, like,
08:04pack real quick
08:05and then we'll just
08:06sneak you out the...
08:07I'll just push you
08:08out the window.
08:09I'm going right there.
08:10I'll hurt you.
08:11I'll hurt you.
08:13I'll hurt you.
08:14I'll hurt you.
08:15I'll hurt you.
08:23I'll hurt you.
08:26All right.
08:27Is everybody gone?
08:28Not everybody,
08:30but Zach, Jasmine, Brittany,
08:32and Michelle
08:33are getting their car right now.
08:35Oh.
08:36The trip was a train wreck.
08:39It looks like
08:40that healing ceremony
08:41might have to happen again.
08:43Gotta go home.
08:45Too old for these trips.
08:47Coming up,
08:48you're hurt because
08:49she was cheating for two years.
08:50I wish there was, like,
08:51an easier solution.
08:53What about a scream
08:54into a pillow?
08:56Get after it.
08:57You want me to scream
08:58into a pillow?
08:59Three times as hard as you can.
09:12Hello.
09:13Hi.
09:15You always look so cute.
09:17You too.
09:18You got the...
09:19Yeah.
09:20Hi.
09:21How's it going?
09:22Pretty good.
09:23You ready?
09:24Yeah.
09:25We were looking
09:26at some old videos
09:27recently of, like,
09:28my old dance recitals
09:29and showing Summer.
09:31I'm like, dang, bomb.
09:32Full glam with me.
09:33When you see the pictures,
09:34are you like,
09:35that's me, Summer?
09:36Oh, yeah.
09:37Oh, yeah.
09:38I think she's looking
09:39more like you,
09:40the older she gets.
09:41Over the last couple years,
09:42Sheena and I have gotten
09:43really close.
09:44She also bought a house
09:45from me in the valley.
09:46How is she?
09:47She's good.
09:48She's loving school.
09:49Isabella and Summer
09:50really get along,
09:51and I think Summer's
09:52a really good influence
09:53on her.
09:54Lately,
09:55she's been wanting
09:56to put her bangs back
09:57because she says
09:58it makes her look older.
09:59She goes, how old do you think
10:00I look?
10:01Maybe, like, four?
10:02Really?
10:03That's so cute.
10:04Sheena has gone through
10:05a divorce,
10:06so she understands
10:07how difficult it could be
10:08at times.
10:09She's a really good person.
10:11How is Aaron?
10:12He's really good.
10:14Um, how do I say it?
10:16We were perfect.
10:17Like, we get along so well,
10:20but I don't know
10:21if you heard what happened
10:22in Santa Barbara
10:23with Jessie and...
10:25I've heard bits and pieces.
10:28Jessie was just a disaster.
10:30I made a big mistake
10:31in thinking...
10:32Did you or did you not cheat?
10:33Dang.
10:34He called me names
10:39that no man should ever say
10:41to a woman,
10:42let alone to the mother
10:43of your child.
10:44Right.
10:45Look at you.
10:46You're a disaster.
10:47And you're a hoker,
10:48so it's fine.
10:49I'm not doing this together.
10:51You're the only lie
10:52and cheat and horror
10:53that I know.
10:54And so, Aaron had this
10:55conversation with me, like,
10:56I love you.
10:57I love Isabella.
10:58Like, I want us to one day
11:00be a family,
11:01but I can't deal with
11:03a crazy ex-husband like that.
11:05No.
11:06It was really hard to call you
11:07and tell you what happened.
11:09Yeah, I didn't sleep
11:10at all that night.
11:11I know that he's going
11:13to be there forever.
11:17It's been hard to, you know, accept.
11:24He said,
11:25if nothing changes,
11:26like, I think it's better
11:27if we're not together.
11:28Wow, I'm sorry.
11:30I've had so much negativity
11:32in the last couple years,
11:34and it's been really,
11:36really hard to basically
11:38start all over.
11:39Yeah.
11:40He clearly has, like,
11:41major, major issues.
11:44Yeah.
11:45I mean, it's why I left him.
11:47And now I finally have somebody
11:50that loves me,
11:51and it's devastating to think
11:53that we might get to that point
11:55where we might break up.
11:57The thought of breaking up with Aaron,
11:59like, other than Isabella,
12:01like, he's what's really helping me
12:03get through this rough time.
12:05Yeah.
12:06And, like, I love him.
12:07I really do.
12:08And I was like,
12:09you're going to leave me
12:10because Jesse's an ass.
12:12And I was like,
12:13I'm not going to allow that.
12:14No, you can't lose him.
12:15You guys are so good together.
12:16And just, like,
12:17the smile you have on your face
12:19every time you talk about him.
12:20Yeah.
12:21I'm like,
12:22ever since I've known you,
12:23you've never had that
12:24when you talked about Jesse.
12:27Yeah.
12:28Everyone thought that was
12:29my normal self.
12:30I was like, no,
12:31I just kept trying and trying.
12:33Yeah, and you can only do that
12:34for so long.
12:35Yeah.
12:46How have you, brother?
12:47How you doing?
12:48Good to see you.
12:49Good to see you, too.
12:50Long time in the flesh, yeah?
12:51I know.
12:52You good?
12:53I'm okay.
12:54Yeah?
12:55Yeah, I'm a little tired.
12:56Just got back.
12:58All right, you want a drink or anything?
12:59Water?
13:00Sparkling water?
13:01Yeah, great.
13:02Okay.
13:03Scott, the marriage coach
13:04that Michelle and I worked with
13:06last summer.
13:10Okay, so,
13:11how are we functioning together?
13:13Just constant conflict all the time.
13:17I've leaned on him quite a bit
13:19and have continued to work with him
13:21still to today.
13:23It was a lot.
13:24The trip was just a little chaotic.
13:26I'm more mad at myself
13:28since Santa Barbara,
13:29to be honest with you.
13:30I want to find out
13:31how I'm being triggered so easily.
13:35What I realized on the trip is,
13:37like,
13:38when I was going through
13:39the grief of the divorce,
13:40I never went through the grief of,
13:42like,
13:43did I win or did I fail?
13:45I was thinking about that
13:46a lot on the trip.
13:47It's just another thing
13:48that I buried down.
13:49It's like,
13:50Michelle admitted that she cheated on me.
13:51Yes, I did admit kissing somebody.
13:53It's hurtful.
13:54She said,
13:55well,
13:56there's no way that you
13:57were
13:58not cheating
14:00for two years
14:01when you're off drinking wine
14:02with your friends.
14:03That's a projection, though.
14:04You mean to tell me
14:05all those years
14:06that you left me alone,
14:08you were such a good boy
14:09when you were drunk
14:10and out for hours.
14:12Then it turns into the,
14:13you know,
14:14you're the cheater
14:15and you're projecting on me
14:16and you're a whore
14:17and you're this
14:18and you're that.
14:19You're the only lying cheating whore
14:20that I know.
14:21you.
14:22Yeah, but that makes you bad.
14:23The actual thing
14:24is that you're hurt
14:25because she was cheating
14:26for two years,
14:27but when she projects
14:28back onto you,
14:29that puts you
14:30into devil mode,
14:31right?
14:32Right.
14:33And now the world
14:34can just make you wrong
14:35for being a dick
14:36in devil mode
14:37and everybody forgot
14:38about the cheating
14:39that was going on
14:40for two years.
14:41Right.
14:42It's kind of a brilliant play.
14:43Here's the path.
14:44The path is recognizing
14:45that your life
14:46as a metaphor
14:47is a garden
14:48and your attention
14:49is water.
14:50And you're planting seeds
14:51all the time
14:52with your actions.
14:53Yeah.
14:54Your attention
14:55is the water.
14:56Whatever you put
14:57your attention on
14:58will inevitably grow.
14:59So if you put your attention
15:01on those beautiful flowers,
15:02which is water those flowers,
15:03what's going to happen?
15:04But if you go
15:05and put a bunch of water
15:06in poison ivy,
15:07what's going to happen?
15:08Yeah.
15:09You got to hold
15:10yourself accountable.
15:11No more acting
15:12like a dick.
15:13No more being self-important.
15:14None of it.
15:15No matter what she does
15:17or says.
15:18It's not yours.
15:19I wish there was
15:21like an easier solution.
15:23Like a deep breath
15:24or a quick run
15:26on the beach.
15:27What about a scream
15:28into a pillow
15:29with everything you got?
15:30Because what will
15:31end up happening
15:32is either you start crying
15:33or you start laughing.
15:35Get after it.
15:36You want me screaming
15:37in the pillow?
15:38Three times as hard as you can.
15:40Look at you.
15:41Stop.
15:42Look at you.
15:43Your child.
15:46I made a mistake.
15:47I made a big mistake
15:49in thinking.
15:50Did you or did you not cheat?
15:53I came here
15:54to check for your well-being.
15:55You seem perfectly fine.
15:57Hurt my abs a little bit.
16:04How do you feel?
16:06Pretty good actually.
16:08Coming up.
16:09I was homeless with my mom
16:10when I was a kid.
16:11Like we were living in a shelter.
16:12We like slept on couches.
16:14We pitched tents
16:15in people's backyards.
16:16Oh, don't you play no games.
16:19Work on a holiday.
16:21All that presents your pay.
16:23Like there ain't nothing in your way.
16:25Go get up.
16:26Get out of here.
16:27Do something with yourself.
16:29Move the outerwear.
16:31Girl, make them.
16:32Girl, make them.
16:33Girl, make them.
16:34Girl, make them.
16:35Girl, make them.
16:36Let's go.
16:37Check it out.
16:38Oh, that looks so cool.
16:41The painters did some good work.
16:43This looks amazing.
16:44So big.
16:45Oh, I'm so happy.
16:47Oh my God.
16:51Luke and I are so excited
16:52to be moving into this beautiful house.
16:55We have a pool.
16:56We have three bedrooms.
16:57We have our master bedroom.
16:59We have a guest room
17:00for family and friends to be visiting.
17:02And we have an extra bedroom.
17:04And the extra bedroom will hopefully
17:06be used as a nursery.
17:07So the rug will go in here right now.
17:09And then the day bed for right now.
17:11Mm-hmm.
17:12In that white dresser.
17:14But Luke and I are only renting this house.
17:18We're still unsure of where we even
17:20want to lay our roots permanently.
17:22This house is the first step
17:24in my big plan for our future.
17:27How long have you and Chris
17:28have been together now?
17:29Uh, it's been over two years.
17:32What you waiting for?
17:33I have some thoughts with a proposal.
17:36What?
17:37Yeah.
17:40Cheers.
17:42Hello.
17:43Come on, let me do it.
17:48Hello?
17:49Oh, I don't think they can see me.
17:51I wanted to see how...
17:53what it looks like.
17:54Oh, she's here!
17:55Hi!
17:56Oh, hi.
17:57Hi, baby!
17:58Hi!
17:59Jill, say hi.
18:00Do you like your new home?
18:01Jill.
18:02Hi.
18:03Okay, go say hi.
18:04Guys, this is so nice.
18:05Except that it's a trillion degrees.
18:07I know, but it's huge.
18:08Look at how big the pool is, though.
18:09It's huge.
18:10Like, come on.
18:11I know.
18:12Hey.
18:13How are you?
18:14Oh, this is so nice.
18:15So you had the keys for a while.
18:16You just took the first day.
18:17You had the keys for a couple weeks.
18:18You want to see the rest of the house?
18:19Yes.
18:20Show me a tour.
18:21Okay.
18:22Yeah, let's go inside.
18:23It's so hot.
18:24This is really nice, though.
18:25This we had painted.
18:26Okay.
18:27Nice.
18:28Just to, like, modernize it a bit.
18:30Love it.
18:31And then Luke's gonna do all the changing of the that and the whatnot.
18:34How many rooms is it?
18:35It's a three-bedroom, two-bath.
18:37Okay.
18:38Are you up there?
18:39Are you up there?
18:40Look.
18:41He's trying to beat me to it.
18:42You want the in the house?
18:43He's christening it.
18:44He's a young strapping lad.
18:46Hey, Mom, I do not want to go swimming in a swimming pool.
18:49Give me a cup.
18:50How was your ride home?
18:51It was fine.
18:52I knew, like, week and I was like, Danny and Nia are not gonna ride with me, of course.
18:56She's probably, like, pissed off or something.
18:58And I do want to apologize to her because I felt bad, like...
19:01With Danny's drinking, my question is, like, is it uncomfortable to ask Nia, like, when she says, oh, he's just taking a nap, to just be like, is he drunk?
19:10Danny was tired.
19:11Like, I just, I think...
19:12I don't know.
19:13Maybe he was tired.
19:14I was just like, he's a voice actor.
19:15I didn't know about the group.
19:16I'm sorry, you stand in the booth all day and you talk.
19:20How tired can you be?
19:21Like, did Ursula take your voice?
19:23Because I'm confused.
19:24What is going on here?
19:26The problem was, like, why can't you just say, like, he's f***ed up?
19:30And I think maybe I was a little triggered on that, too.
19:32Yeah.
19:33Because when it happened on Halloween, it did bother me.
19:35Of course.
19:36Being in a queer, gay relationship, it's so much harder than being in a straight relationship.
19:41Like, the things that comes with it.
19:43Like, just us being at a bar.
19:44Like, men not taking us seriously.
19:46It's like this fetishized thing that, like, ooh, two women together.
19:49Like, oh, it's not that serious.
19:51I can, you know, touch them, do whatever, and say certain things and it's not okay.
19:55If it was Janet and you did this s*** to Jason, oh, man.
19:58It probably would have been, like, a fight.
20:00Who knows?
20:01The reason it was brought up again, because it was kind of, like, to show a pattern.
20:04But here, so we were talking about this last night, and I was thinking to myself, too, like,
20:09if it were exactly the same situation.
20:11Luke had to leave, he had to go work, he had to drive back, and then he, like, got to the winery
20:17and then decided to, like, do some shots, but he was, like, super tired.
20:20And if you guys were like, wait, where'd Luke go?
20:22I would be like, he's tired.
20:24Like, he went to bed.
20:25Since when does it matter if someone gets drunk in this group and falls asleep?
20:27Why does that matter?
20:28When everyone was drinking.
20:30Yeah.
20:31Britt said, what, we're gonna, I think, like, in a few days, like, Tuesday or something,
20:35we'll have the girls dinner.
20:36Yeah, have dinner.
20:37So, I was gonna see if you wanted to have, like, a dinner.
20:42Kind of clear the air, make things better.
20:44Yeah, I feel bad that India cried.
20:46I didn't want her to cry.
20:47You know, that's not...
20:48I think we're all better than that, and I feel bad that happened, so...
20:51But we'll talk when we can.
20:54I've been dying to get in this pool.
20:56We haven't...
20:57We've been over here, like, four times.
20:58I have to check on the place, and I think it's time to jump in.
21:00Let's do it.
21:01I think it's time to jump in.
21:02Let's get in and down.
21:03Let's do a eating suit.
21:04Yay!
21:21Ooh!
21:22I got butterflies, man.
21:23I got butterflies.
21:24Let's go, bro!
21:25Let's go!
21:26Oh, son of a gun.
21:28Let me get the door for you, sir.
21:31How do you get goosebumps when it's 100 degrees outside?
21:33No kidding.
21:39I gotta see the ring, man!
21:41All right, let's pull out these rings.
21:43You know what Kristen wants.
21:44We've talked about this.
21:45Yes.
21:46She likes emerald cut.
21:48Yeah.
21:49Yeah.
21:50What are the C's?
21:51The clarity cut and...
21:53Carrot.
21:54Carrot.
21:55We're talking about VVS1, VVS2.
21:58This one is F color, VVS2, and the carot weight, 703.
22:05This one's 14 carot white gold, so it's nice and strong.
22:08Yep.
22:09Yeah.
22:10You know, real cheap.
22:12Kristen flat out told me that she will chop my balls off if I spend more than $10,000 on a ring.
22:18What do you think of that, though?
22:19I think it's gorgeous.
22:20I mean, it's a statement.
22:21That is a statement.
22:23Holy cow.
22:24It's a statement saying, I want to look like I have more money than I do.
22:30How are you feeling?
22:31I don't know.
22:32A lot of things.
22:33Your balls going into your stomach?
22:34I feel like I'm feeling a lot of things.
22:35I don't think I have balls anymore.
22:36When do you see this happening?
22:38Are you talking within a few months?
22:40The only thing I know for sure is I planned this year.
22:43Yeah.
22:44At some point this year.
22:45Yeah.
22:46So when did you realize that, like, Kristen was the one?
22:48Kristen and I have already been through some ups and downs.
22:50These really cool, awesome things that have happened.
22:53These follicles look kind of exactly where they should be.
22:57Cheers.
22:59They're making babies.
23:01Yeah.
23:02Cheers to the sauce.
23:03You know, I think it really hit me.
23:04We were on a long drive to Indiana.
23:05It was a 5,000-mile road trip with four dogs in tow.
23:20The fact that she could do that with me, it's something I've never experienced before.
23:24Kristen is the love of my life, and this ring is going to show that.
23:28Yeah, that's the ring.
23:30Well, I have a surprise for you.
23:31I'd actually like to come in.
23:32You have?
23:33I'm joking.
23:34No, no, no.
23:35Of course I'm not paying for your ring.
23:36I saw the black card in there.
23:37I saw the black Amex.
23:38Think about the rewards, Danny.
23:39Think about the rewards.
23:40Think about it.
23:41What's going on?
23:50Isabella?
23:51Why?
23:52Why don't you put on a little iPad?
23:54I have a burger.
23:55I have a burger.
23:56Oh, fantastic.
23:57Let me see it.
24:01That's amazing.
24:03Okay, chicken, broccoli.
24:06Do you want the french fries from Chateau?
24:08Mm-hmm.
24:09Okay.
24:10I think you get to a point where you can only be hostile and angry until you're exhausted.
24:17You're a disaster.
24:18And you're a hater.
24:19I'm the mother of your f***ing child.
24:23And then you just have to either let it go or let it consume you.
24:27And I just don't want to let it consume me because I have my relationship.
24:32I have my business.
24:33And I have my daughter.
24:34Remember that game?
24:36Which game?
24:37That game.
24:38Talking about the card game?
24:40Yeah, we have to play that.
24:42Oh.
24:43Oh my God.
24:48I have to tell you something.
24:50Why?
24:51I searched the entire house for your key.
24:56Do you know where you put it?
24:58Where?
24:59In the fridge.
25:01What?
25:02Can you come drop a key off?
25:05I'd rather not because it's mommy's house.
25:07But I want it.
25:09Isabella can get bossy, but she kind of always wins.
25:14All right, I'm going to drop off the key then.
25:18Be outside in five minutes.
25:20Okay.
25:21Bye.
25:22Bye.
25:23Love you.
25:25Oh my God.
25:27I hope that Michelle and I can figure it out.
25:31In the fridge.
25:32In the fridge.
25:33It's not cold.
25:35Right now, she resents and hates me so much.
25:39Did you bring the Crocs?
25:41No, I was rushing.
25:42I'll bring them tomorrow.
25:44In the orange sippy cup thing.
25:47This is deep rooted resentment.
25:49This isn't Jesse repeated a rumor and Michelle's mad at me.
25:52This is deep seated anger that I don't know where it's coming from.
25:57Isabella, it's bedtime.
25:59Come on.
26:00I am just coexisting with Michelle at this point.
26:05Give me a kiss.
26:07We live this parallel life.
26:10Until that life collides again in a positive way, I think it'll work itself out.
26:16Goodnight.
26:17I love you.
26:18It smells good.
26:19Oh my gosh.
26:20This is already looking awesome.
26:21It's going to taste awesome too.
26:22Do you want me to like put plates out or do anything like that?
26:37I think we got it under control.
26:39Yeah.
26:40Do y'all want a shot?
26:41I'm okay right now.
26:42I think it's important that we talk about what happened in Santa Barbara.
26:46Hi.
26:47You're so cute.
26:48You look cute.
26:49I think it's important we move past it.
26:50Hi.
26:51Hi.
26:52Gino.
26:53I love Nia.
26:54I don't want to be fighting with Nia.
26:55Are you kidding me?
26:56Look at this.
26:57This is something we should have had in Santa Barbara.
26:59Do you really love Gino?
27:00Yeah.
27:01I've hired the chef Gino many times before.
27:04We all think he's such a cutie.
27:06He's such a cute.
27:07He's just great.
27:08And great to look at.
27:10Oh my God.
27:11Look at him.
27:12He looks so cute.
27:13How are you guys?
27:15Good.
27:16I'm like nervous.
27:17I don't know why.
27:18I'm a little bit too.
27:20Hello.
27:21Hi.
27:22Hi.
27:23How are you?
27:24I'm all right.
27:25You look good.
27:27How are you doing?
27:28You look so cute.
27:29I'm okay.
27:30I feel so uncomfortable.
27:31Am I going to my funeral?
27:36Like why is everybody wearing black?
27:38I missed the memo.
27:39The black and white memo.
27:40We didn't even talk about it.
27:43What's up, business niches?
27:45Hi.
27:46Hi.
27:47Oh, we're so cute.
27:51Do you guys want to sit down?
27:53Ladies, pardon me really quickly.
27:55I just have a caviar first course.
27:56I know somebody is a vegetarian.
27:58Is it you?
27:59Okay.
28:00Substitute for, you can grab and I'll pass it around.
28:03Oh, amazing.
28:04Yeah.
28:06Take any of the ones with the caviar.
28:10I have no idea what caviar is.
28:11I don't know if I've ever had caviar.
28:12It's good.
28:13It doesn't taste like fish or anything.
28:15Cheers, everybody.
28:16Cheers.
28:17Cheers.
28:18Cheers.
28:19Cheers.
28:20Cheers.
28:21Cheers.
28:22Mmm.
28:23Love it.
28:24That's so good.
28:25That is so good.
28:26That is really good.
28:27Yeah.
28:28Delicious.
28:29Yay.
28:39Well, I think at the beginning of this dinner, I would like to address what happened the other
28:44day in Santa Barbara because I love you very much and this is why I wanted to do this
28:49and get all of us together so that we could clear the air.
28:52And I'm, like, so sorry for how it came across and how it came out.
28:56Like, if we weren't drinking all day and eating all day, and I know that drinking is
29:00an excuse, but it, like, definitely brought out a worse side.
29:04Yeah.
29:05And I apologize for that.
29:06I really do.
29:07I definitely want to apologize to Unia.
29:08Thanks.
29:09I'm sorry that I raised my voice and you like that.
29:11That was unacceptable.
29:13Not blaming the alcohol.
29:14Like, I shouldn't have done that.
29:15So, I just want to say I'm sorry because I think that we have been building this relationship
29:19that's, like, great and we have so much fun together.
29:22I'm sorry.
29:23I shouldn't have done that.
29:24Um, thank you.
29:26I just, like, you know, and they will stop thinking about it and, you know, to sleep
29:32really well and all that.
29:33Same.
29:34It was just really hurtful that, like, my friends waited till I left the table to say
29:37something.
29:38Like, we're sitting here talking to each other.
29:40Yeah.
29:41If you were like, Nina, come on.
29:42I feel like Daniel's passed out because he had some wine.
29:44Like, say it to me.
29:46I agree with you 100%.
29:47That was really the most hurtful thing.
29:49I think it was, like, not to interrupt.
29:51I think it, like, just was building up and then, like, I don't know what happened.
29:55A few months ago, we all know, Dani got really drunk at the bar.
29:59Yeah, October.
30:00Said some inappropriate things, some touching, got kicked out of Jax's bar, and I think that's
30:06why I got triggered.
30:07In my mind, I'm thinking, okay, she's not being honest.
30:10Yeah, and that's where our issues originally, like, majorly triggered from.
30:14But there was, like, weeks and weeks and weeks where we weren't good.
30:18I've never said that Daniel didn't make a mistake.
30:21After everything that happened with Daniel and Jasmine at that Halloween party,
30:26after everything that's happened, like, you can't just let something like that sit.
30:30So we've really worked through it.
30:32We did our own individual, like, group therapy, individual therapy,
30:36and then marriage counseling.
30:37Like, we had some really hard conversations.
30:40And it was just a lot of work, but it got us to a lot better place.
30:45You pretend that everything's perfect.
30:47And I think that's what people were noticing.
30:51The perception of how I am is just different because maybe you don't know what I come from.
30:58I was homeless with my mom when I was a kid.
31:00Like, we were living in a shelter.
31:01We, like, slept on couches.
31:03We pitched tents in people's backyards.
31:06And we had to, like, go to parks and, like, get cans out of trash cans to, like,
31:23pay rent.
31:24Like, I've had times that I've slept in my own car as an adult.
31:26Like, I had a job, but I, like, I had to sleep in my car at the parking lot where I worked.
31:32Like, how mortifying is that to, like, wake up to a security guard being, like, you need
31:48to leave the employee parking lot and, like, having to go sleep in a rouse instead or something,
31:53you know?
31:54It's, like, life has not been easy, but that's okay because it's made me strong.
32:01And if I can be that point of, like, light and kindness and positivity, I'd rather choose
32:08to bring that into people's life.
32:10I've been through so much, but I've always chosen to be positive because I feel like you
32:15can let things that happen to you, like, break you.
32:18I literally remember getting into the front seat of my car from sleeping in the back seat
32:22and saying, like, thank you, God, that I at least have a car.
32:25So, like, I've always had to have that perspective.
32:28Nobody knows, but, like, that's the way that I am.
32:31And my therapist is, like, you've had to be that way to survive.
32:38I love you.
32:41I'm not going to be negative with people when I have so much to be grateful for.
32:46And if my friends want to say that I'm hiding things because I'm choosing to be
32:51intentional and positive, then they can say whatever they want to say, but I know my truth.
32:56Thank you for sharing that.
32:57You explain that right now, like, totally makes sense.
33:00I think it was hard to see, like, so many people being, like, so vulnerable about certain things.
33:05And then, like, you know, little things to just be like, okay, like, you know.
33:09So I just, I think that was the frustration there.
33:12Yeah, and I can see your perspective.
33:14But, like, you know, if you felt like I was hiding something, it was more hurtful to me that you waited until I left the table.
33:19Like, if you had, like, a concern or a problem or, like, an issue with me, it's like, ask me.
33:24Like, I'm not hiding stuff. You were saying something to my face.
33:26Like, I think, yeah.
33:27But I, like, I...
33:29I love seeing that, this part of you because I, like, you are so honest and you are very open.
33:36I'm really grateful and happy to see that Nia's opening up and being honest and that they've been working through things.
33:43But behavior didn't stop.
33:45My husband has never once hid in a cupboard chugging tequila, making people uncomfortable.
33:50I think some of the reason that I had such a reaction also to, like, Daniel being passed out was something kind of strange happened.
33:59Like, when we got back to the house after wine tasting, I, like, walked into the walk-in pantry to, like, get a snack.
34:04And when I walked in, Daniel came in behind me and shut the door and then, like, chugged out of a tequila bottle.
34:11And it just made me feel a little bit uncomfortable because I didn't want to be a part of, like, he wanted to do something that he didn't want everyone to see.
34:19I'm like, I don't want to know about it either.
34:21Yeah.
34:22If you ever are having concerns about his drinking, like, I don't want you, because of how Santa Barbara went down, to feel like you don't have friends that you could go to.
34:31I was in a relationship for years where somebody had drug and alcohol problems.
34:35I feel like that's a really big statement for you to kind of make.
34:37I know you're trying to be nice, but, like, that's kind of, like, really a big thing to say.
34:41Like, if you have a pomadeanos, like, drinking, like, I...
34:44I think she means because he's in the closet, like, taking a shot.
34:47She just compared it to someone who had drug and alcohol problems.
34:50I missed that. I missed that. I missed that. I missed that.
34:52Because Daniel doesn't do drugs, so comparing it to someone who had drug and alcohol problems is, like, a whole different thing.
34:57Janet is so off base.
35:00I came here for resolution, and you're implying that my husband has a drug and alcohol problem.
35:07This is the worst apology that I've ever heard.
35:09When it feels like you're hiding something, it's not great.
35:14Yeah, because, God forbid, I compare a very painful and difficult experience I went through to Nia's perfect husband.
35:22It was an uncomfortable moment, I wanted to tell you.
35:25Makes sense. Yeah.
35:28Everybody was drinking.
35:31The one thing moving forward, if we can all do, is, like, if there's a problem, go to the person.
35:37Yeah.
35:38Straight up and ask.
35:39Let's all pinky swear to each other.
35:41Pinky promise?
35:42Feels like a witch.
35:43We're gonna do that from here on out.
35:44Okay, got this.
35:45Pinky swear.
35:46I mean, fingers crossed, I'm proved wrong.
35:48But when it comes to this pinky promise, I think there's a 0% chance in the forecast that these girls are going to follow through.
35:56My Uber's here. I have to go.
35:58I hope you feel better, right?
36:00Yeah.
36:01Yeah, thank you guys.
36:02I think all of us wanted this to be...
36:03Me too!
36:04I hope you get the best night of sleep tonight.
36:07In this moment, it does not feel like Janet is being a friend.
36:11I just feel like what Daniel and I have experienced and worked through is now kind of being thrown back at me and even, like, weaponized.
36:22I feel like she is assuming the worst of us and just putting that out there, and it just doesn't feel right.
36:28I feel like that was really positive.
36:29Me too.
36:30With Nia.
36:31I appreciate, like, that we had this conversation with her.
36:33I still feel...
36:35I'm not going...
36:36A little...
36:37When somebody cries in front of me, I'm just like, I can't.
36:39Yeah.
36:40What do you still feel what?
36:41I feel like she thought that was more about her relationship with her and Dani.
36:44That's why I kept saying over and over.
36:45I was like, let me be clear.
36:46She just literally poured her heart out and explained exactly why she doesn't.
36:51No, Kristen, Kristen.
36:52I'm not saying he has a dream father, but I'm telling you, I know signs.
36:55Are you kidding me?
36:56Like, I don't know what an alcoholic is doing.
36:58So when Janet said that, I'm like, ding, ding, ding.
37:00I've been there before in my life.
37:01She's all sneaky.
37:02She might understand that it might be something more.
37:04Yeah.
37:05Because that's only why she attacked you like that.
37:06And she's still being very defensive of the idea.
37:08I just think it's a really dangerous thing to call someone like an alcoholic.
37:11She didn't call me.
37:12She said it triggered her.
37:13I'm sad.
37:14But I'm sorry if you show me no costume at Jackson's bar Halloween with a jacket on,
37:18no costume and start grabbing people's ass and tell me to call you daddy.
37:21Like, you got a problem and get kicked out twice.
37:23Yeah.
37:24In Danny's mind, he thinks that everything's fine.
37:26You took the apology.
37:27This is weird, you know?
37:28That was completely out of my character.
37:31I am so sorry.
37:33But it's, I don't know if it's trauma and just being a woman.
37:36I want to talk to Danny to like, let him understand, like, how would you feel if somebody grabbed
37:40Mia's ass and said, get daddy a drink in our friend group?
37:43Like, how would that make you feel?
37:45It's hard because I really am wanting to move past it because I'm over it.
37:48But it's like, maybe I'm not.
37:50Yeah.
37:51Hey.
37:52Hey.
37:53Hey.
37:58How's it going?
38:00It's going good.
38:17How's it going?
38:19It's going good.
38:21How you doing?
38:23Good.
38:25Thank you for doing this.
38:27I have such a disaster.
38:29Oh, I hear you.
38:31Ease up.
38:33So we should probably have to go to bed.
38:35Okay.
38:37I'm so exhausted.
38:39You're exhausted.
38:41I just want to go to bed.
38:43I just want to go to bed.
38:45What's up?
38:47Um...
38:49Talk to me.
38:51I feel like everything
38:53ended fine. It's just like
38:55so emotionally draining.
38:57There was one moment with Janet
38:59where she was like,
39:01if you do have a problem with Daniel and his drinking
39:03and all of that, then
39:05you can come to us.
39:07I have an ex that had a
39:09drug and alcohol problem and
39:11I can be here for you.
39:13I know.
39:15I was like, that's a big statement, first of all.
39:17Oh, my gosh.
39:19Janet, again, trying to stir something up,
39:21making assumptions that aren't true,
39:25but throwing them out there,
39:27seeing who wants to catch them.
39:29Janet cannot make those statements.
39:31Yeah, but we're not going to focus on it
39:33because I let her know that that was inappropriate.
39:35She understood and heard me
39:37that it's not okay to make those comparisons.
39:39How did the night end?
39:41Like, did you... were you Nia good? Were you in...
39:43I guess this is where I'm like, kind of, with Nia.
39:45You can't continue to protect this person
39:47who's doing something wrong,
39:49especially when it's affecting, like,
39:51Jasmine and Melissa's relationship.
39:53It's just sort of like, like,
39:55at this point, you've got to know your limits.
39:57Well, it's the hiding, too.
39:58Kristen kept saying,
39:59oh, we're not going to act like Danny has a drinking problem.
40:01Well, I'm not saying Danny needs to be where Jax is,
40:03but it might be worth questioning
40:05his relationship with alcohol if it's hiding.
40:07If you're doing these little things,
40:09it's not great.
40:11There's one more thing that was said.
40:13Janet said that when you had the tequila,
40:15she was in the pantry slash, like, bedroom area,
40:17and you had, like, gone in there with the tequila
40:19and, like, taken a shot of it in there
40:21with, like, the door closed, like, you were hiding it.
40:23And so she's like, I don't want to be on it any secret.
40:25And I was like, well, Daniel woke up, he...
40:27No, honey, don't laugh.
40:29Take... I don't want to be on it any secret.
40:31I don't want to be on it any secret.
40:33I don't want to be on it any secret.
40:35And I was like, well, Daniel woke up, he...
40:37No, honey, don't laugh.
40:39Take... I want you to take this seriously.
40:41Yes, there will.
40:42So don't laugh.
40:43Okay.
40:44Take it seriously.
40:45I do.
40:46If you close the door and you...
40:48That looks like it's hiding it to somebody.
40:50You told me you had tequila.
40:51Exactly.
40:52But you didn't tell me that you, like,
40:53went into a pantry and, like, took a shot behind the door.
40:55That's where the bottles were.
40:56Okay, I didn't know that.
40:57In that back door.
40:58Yes.
40:59I didn't know that.
41:00I didn't know where they were at.
41:01So I literally picked it up and took a shot.
41:03But the door closed.
41:04And when I was going back in there,
41:07you had to shut the door.
41:08Yeah.
41:09Yes.
41:10So, whatever.
41:11I'm not bothered by it.
41:12I know.
41:13I'm sorry.
41:14It's just crazy to me.
41:15I know.
41:16I think you do a nervous laugh, but I don't like it.
41:17I'm not doing a nervous laugh.
41:18You did the...
41:19Like, it feels like a laugh.
41:20Like, I don't like it.
41:21No, I'm like...
41:23I'm just in shock by the whole thing.
41:26I mean, I think that I should talk to Danny.
41:28I don't know if he'll just say, it's like,
41:30oh, you know, I'm stressed out, just letting...
41:32blowing off steam, or if it's like a deeper thing,
41:34because really to get to that blackout level
41:36is a different animal.
41:37Yeah.
41:38Well...
41:39It's not like a thing that he's only hurting himself.
41:41It's like, now he's hurting other people.
41:42Yeah.
41:45This evening feels like the roast of Danny Booko.
41:48That's not okay.
41:50And that really pisses me off.
41:59Next time on The Valley.
42:02It's a special day for me today, because I get to see my son.
42:05Jax was like, well, I already signed a lease to a condo.
42:09He's moving in next door to Tom Schwartz.
42:12I do not want him to get out.
42:13I wish he was, like, in actual jail.
42:15I'm so sorry, Britt.
42:16Jasmine felt triggered by the fact that
42:19last time she saw you being very drunk.
42:21I was not drunk.
42:23You're not making sense right now.
42:24I'm saying that the connection...
42:25Hold on, can I talk for a second?
42:28Jason's in no space to be judging.
42:30Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
