00:00afternoon everyone breaking news Elon Musk and I agree with each other the GOP
00:12tax scam is a disgusting abomination every single Republican who voted for
00:21the one big ugly bill should be ashamed of themselves they aren't helping their
00:29constituents they are hurting their constituents that's an objectively
00:37verifiable fact the GOP tax scam is a disgusting abomination it rips health
00:49care away from up to 14 million people every day Americans across the country
01:02hospitals will close nursing homes will shut down and yes people will die if the
01:13GOP tax scam ever became law it's a disgusting abomination the one big ugly
01:24bill would enact the largest cut to nutritional assistance in American
01:31history that's also disgusting
01:35Republicans literally want to rip food out of the mouths of children veterans and
01:44seniors every single Republican who voted for this bill should be ashamed of
01:50themselves
01:52this bill that Republicans narrowly passed it limp out of the House of
01:59Representatives
02:00and we're going to work hard to make sure it dies in the Senate
02:05this one big ugly bill the GOP tax scam hurts everyday Americans and rewards their
02:17billionaire donors with a massive tax break for the wealthy the well-off and the
02:24well-connected
02:27and to make matters worse they will saddle our children and grandchildren with more
02:37than five trillion dollars in additional debt in order to subsidize the lifestyles of the rich and shameless
02:48the bill the bill is disgusting the bill is disgusting it's an abomination it's a disaster for the
03:18American people and that's house Democrats we've been saying it repeatedly
03:22saying it at rallies saying it at committee markups saying it before the
03:27Rules Committee saying it on the floor hour after hour after hour into the early
03:33morning and we'll continue to say it in the United States Senate the bill
03:37limped out of the House of Representatives they had to strong arm members of the
03:45Republican conference to even get this done many of these Republicans know that
03:51they were doing the wrong thing by their constituents and we're going to
03:57continue to expose it before Elon Musk decided to weigh in the American people
04:05understood the deal in every single poll that has come out over the last two
04:13weeks the Republican one big ugly bill is deeply under water it is unfavorable
04:21by 8 points 10 points 15 16 points every single poll across this country that has come out
04:32over the last two weeks the American people have rejected the Republican one big ugly bill and we're just
04:42getting started
04:48sorry you guys were late on this side of the room
04:50thanks
04:52thanks
04:54um
04:54speaker Johnson implied that uh
04:56uh
04:58uh
05:00uh
05:02The clean energy credits that were part of the inflation reduction act
05:17actually have had a significant benefit in terms of economic activity all across the country
05:27particularly in red states and congressional districts represented by Republicans
05:35that are going on the road that have made.
05:36Amongst the
05:49clean energy economy lowers energy costs helps to protect the environment and combats the climate crisis with the fierce urgency of now that is necessary while at the same period of time creating jobs and generating economic activity.
05:57that they want to detonate these clean energy credits.
06:01I haven't spoke to Elon Musk.
06:04I'm not sure what the reasons are for this extraordinary statement,
06:09but we're in complete agreement.
06:12The GOP tax scam is a disgusting abomination.
06:14And yes, the repeal of the clean energy tax credits is one of many reasons
06:20by the Republican one big ugly bill is a complete and total disaster.
06:27These extremists can't even defend it.
06:31So you have the senator from Iowa say in response to a question
06:37that was heartfelt about people dying prematurely
06:43because they are going to lose health care coverage
06:45under the GOP tax scam that everyone's going to die.
06:48Yes, Joni, we know, the American people know,
06:53that at some point in their lives, they are going to pass away.
06:59The cause of death should not be Republican cruelty.
07:04The cause of death should not be this disgusting abomination of a bill.
07:10The cause of death should not be the reckless Republican effort
07:15to rip away health care from millions of people
07:19and rip food out of the mouths of starving children or veterans
07:24in the United States of America.
07:29Has your caucus come any closer to making a decision
07:32on how to respond to the deadline being crossed
07:34or how someone who's hired to be charged
07:36or the tax cuts against them?
07:39There are ongoing conversations.
07:41First and foremost, what's important is that we stand strongly
07:45and firmly behind LaMonica MacGyver.
07:48And that's priority number one,
07:50to make sure that she has the first-rate legal representation
07:55that she needs to battle these charges.
07:57She does.
07:59We're going to make sure that she has the resources that she needs
08:03to aggressively push back on all fronts
08:06against this extreme, reckless, corrupt, legal assault
08:12on a duly elected member of Congress who was doing her job.
08:18We have to stand with her until these charges are either dismissed
08:23or defeated in court, and we will.
08:27And those are the most immediate priorities
08:32as it relates to standing up for LaMonica.
08:39And that's what we needed to initially put into place.
08:44And then, of course, there's a more collective response.
08:48And you can expect some activity and action on that front
08:56to be led, in part by Jamie Raskin.
09:02Thank you, Mr. Leader.
09:04During the discussion on CNA on the Saturday,
09:07every single people are discussing,
09:10all the blocks that they will kind of foster support for you,
09:13because we kind of ran on our difficult
09:15where we're going to be doing our project for you.
09:17There are ongoing conversations within the caucus
09:44to lay out different elements
09:47about our blueprint for a better America
09:50anchored in a vision that is designed
09:52to build an affordable economy
09:55that lowers the high cost of living
09:57and makes life better for everyday Americans.
10:00That's the foundation.
10:01That's our North Star.
10:04Republicans are making life worse for you.
10:07Our objective is to make life better
10:11for everyday Americans starting with an economy
10:15that actually works for hardworking American taxpayers
10:18and that actually lowers the high cost of living
10:21and makes life affordable in America.
10:26Not a single person ever
10:28should be put in a position here in America
10:32where they're struggling to live paycheck to paycheck.
10:35We need an America that rewards hard work
10:39and playing by the rules.
10:41So over the next few months,
10:42you'll see House Democrats collectively,
10:46after input from every element of the caucus,
10:49the progressives, the new Dems, the blue dogs,
10:52the entirety of the ideological spectrum
10:56that is the gorgeous mosaic of the House Democratic caucus,
10:59is going to be a part of this process
11:03so that at the end of it,
11:06we're able to articulate a values-based vision
11:09for the type of America
11:11that House Democrats are fighting to bring to life.
11:15On that angle,
11:16saying that Democrats in the country
11:17are going to be here,
11:18are going to be on the side?
11:20Well, Republicans are aggressively
11:21trying to destroy America as we know it
11:25and end the American way of life.
11:26That's what this Donald Trump effort has been all about,
11:29which, by the way,
11:30the American people are rejecting.
11:32Despite all of the talk of this so-called big mandate,
11:36this guy is the most unpopular president
11:39after 100 days in office
11:41in modern American history.
11:44So much for your mandate.
11:48And then your signature bill,
11:51this disgusting abomination,
11:53is also unpopular.
11:54Before Elon Musk spoke up,
11:56and so
11:58Project 2025 is a disaster
12:03for the American people.
12:06It's a reason
12:07why the American people
12:08are running away from Republicans.
12:11But of course,
12:12that's one side of the equation.
12:14The other side of the equation
12:16is how do we rebuild
12:17the America
12:19that Donald Trump is trying to break
12:21in record time.
12:23And that's an effort
12:25that we as House Democrats
12:27look forward to being
12:28a part of as we move forward.
12:30I'll go to the back row.
12:32The crypto industry
12:33spent heavily in 2024
12:34in a lot of key races
12:35across the country,
12:36and they're expected to do similarly
12:37in 2026.
12:39You've seen, you know,
12:40some internal divisions
12:41among Democrats
12:41in the Senate
12:42and the House
12:42around this
12:43crypto.
12:45Are you concerned at all
12:46at the spending
12:47and its potential influence
12:49on legislation?
12:50Well, crypto spent both
12:51for Democrats
12:53and Republicans.
12:54Certainly that was the case
12:56in the House of Representatives
12:57because there are allies
12:59of the crypto industry
12:59on both sides of the aisle
13:01in the House,
13:02and that was reflected
13:03in the crypto industry's engagement.
13:05I think the best thing
13:06that can happen
13:07in terms of moving forward
13:09is that we arrive
13:11at a bipartisan solution
13:13in terms of the legislation
13:16that is pending
13:18in the Congress.
13:20because that's the only way
13:21for it to be sustainable.
13:23When you make an issue
13:24partisan,
13:27and at this point
13:27crypto is not partisan,
13:30Donald Trump
13:30is a separate problem
13:32that has to be addressed.
13:35You know,
13:36the real-time corruption
13:37in terms of the friends
13:39and family program
13:40to monetize
13:42Trump's office
13:42and enrich
13:45parts of the family
13:46in part by using crypto,
13:48that is a problem
13:49that has to be addressed
13:50decisively.
13:54And we're committed
13:55to doing that
13:55as Democrats.
13:57But when you take away
13:58that piece of it,
14:01which is a very important piece,
14:03I think substantively,
14:06figuring out
14:07how we arrive
14:09at a bipartisan resolution
14:13of the crypto issues
14:15that are currently pending
14:16before Congress
14:17is what will best serve
14:19the American people
14:20and also best serve
14:23an appropriately regulated industry
14:27that allows for innovation
14:30but also has guardrails
14:32to protect the American consumer.
14:34Thanks.
14:36A lot of questions today.
14:38Thank you, Leader.
14:39House Republicans
14:40are moving to claw back
14:41billions of dollars
14:42in funding to USAID,
14:44NPR, and PBS,
14:46which they claim
14:47they're in a waste
14:47of half-ten dollars.
14:49What is your position
14:50on taxpayers
14:51putting the bill
14:52for programs like that?
14:53All these things
14:54that are being proposed
14:55by extreme MAGA Republicans
14:56are dead on arrival.
14:58It's fantasy.
14:59It's not happening.
15:00It's not happening.
15:01And that's just the reality
15:06of the situation.
15:08So they have a responsibility
15:10to govern.
15:12And it's been a disaster so far.
15:15Chaos, cruelty, and corruption
15:18is what characterizes
15:20Republican complete control
15:22of government in this town.
15:25So my suggestion to them
15:27is why don't you focus
15:28on the things
15:29that you actually promised
15:30you would focus on
15:31when you lied
15:32to the American people
15:33last year.
15:36Because Republicans
15:37spent all year
15:38in 2024
15:39promising
15:40that they were going
15:41to lower
15:42the high cost of living
15:43in the United States
15:44of America.
15:45And,
15:46in fact,
15:47costs would go down
15:48on day one.
15:50Costs aren't going down
15:51under Republican
15:53complete control
15:53of government.
15:54They are going up.
15:55Inflation
15:56is going up.
15:57The cost of living
15:58is going up.
15:59Life is becoming
16:00more unaffordable
16:02for everyday Americans.
16:03Donald Trump
16:04and Republicans
16:04broke their promise
16:05to focus
16:07on the issues
16:09that matter
16:10in terms
16:11of the economy.
16:13And that's one
16:13of the reasons
16:14why the American people
16:16are running away
16:17from the Trump presidency
16:20and the sycophants
16:23who are nothing
16:24more than
16:25a rubber stamp
16:25for Donald Trump's
16:27extreme agenda
16:28in Congress.
16:29So,
16:30if you say,
16:32if it's set on arrival,
16:34then you want it to
16:34remain the way it is
16:35for the taxpayers
16:36and to be able to do it.
16:38I mean,
16:39if it's not going to happen.
16:39I think my remarks
16:40speak for themselves.
16:42Yeah,
16:42follow up on that.
16:43You say it's not
16:44going to happen.
16:45You mean that you
16:46don't have to cover
16:46and have to vote
16:47for the House
16:48decision?
16:49Correct.
16:50And in the House
16:51and the Senate
16:51or in which chamber?
16:52Remains to be seen
16:53what the case is
16:54in the House,
16:55but it's my full
16:57expectation that
16:59as has been the case
17:01up until this point,
17:03they will confront
17:04strong and unified
17:05Democratic opposition
17:06in the House
17:07struggle to get
17:10any bill out
17:11of the House
17:11of Representatives
17:12and then it's dead
17:13in the United States
17:14Senate.
17:15No, it only takes
17:1650 plus one in the Senate.
17:17Dead in the United
17:18States Senate.
17:19Thank you, Mr. Lear.
17:20I just want to ask you
17:21about the reporting
17:22that you just published.
17:23You guys have learned
17:24that the U.S.
17:25and this is going to
17:26gain multiple
17:27neighborhoodships
17:28after civil rights
17:29leaders and prominent
17:30Americans among them
17:32in the U.S.
17:32and this are you know,
17:33which of course
17:34this is going to be
17:35during Pride Month,
17:36but other potential
17:37vessels include
17:38U.S.
17:38Senator Marshall,
17:40Peter Pittsburgh,
17:41Murray Tubman,
17:42Lawrence Greta,
17:43Lucy Stone,
17:44Cesar Chavez,
17:45and then the others
17:46that have been
17:47been critical
17:47over the place
17:48department
17:49and the vice
17:49secretary
17:50on the issues
17:50of universities.
17:51So,
17:51who's going to
17:52get your reaction
17:53to that?
17:53It's a complete
17:54and total disgrace.
17:56It's an utter
17:57abomination
17:59in terms of
18:00the extreme
18:02MAGA Republican
18:03effort to continue
18:04to erase
18:04American history.
18:06and we're not
18:09going to allow
18:09it to happen.
18:12And you wonder
18:13why do these
18:15far-right extremists
18:17who are
18:18utterly
18:19unqualified
18:20for the jobs
18:22that they
18:22currently hold
18:23in the United
18:26States government
18:26exhibit A,
18:28Pete Hexath,
18:30the least
18:31qualified
18:32secretary of
18:32defense in
18:33American history,
18:34and this
18:35guy's leading
18:35the charge?
18:36It's a joke.
18:38You're not
18:39qualified for the
18:39job that you
18:40have.
18:41You didn't get
18:42that job on
18:43merit.
18:45And so,
18:47here's what the
18:48outcome is going
18:49to be.
18:50Every single
18:51time they've
18:52raised this
18:53issue and
18:54tried to cancel
18:54a part of our
18:55history,
18:56they've had to
18:57walk it back.
18:57because the
18:59American people
19:00aided and
19:02assisted by
19:03Democrats have
19:04aggressively pushed
19:06back.
19:08They tried to
19:09cancel Harriet
19:10Tugman.
19:11We reversed it.
19:14They tried to
19:15cancel Jackie
19:16Robinson.
19:17We reversed it.
19:19They tried to
19:20cancel the Tuskegee
19:21airmen.
19:23We reversed it.
19:24They tried to
19:25ban hundreds of
19:26books in the
19:27Naval Academy.
19:29We reversed it.
19:30Every single
19:31time the
19:32extremists have
19:32tried to cancel
19:33certain parts of
19:34American history,
19:37the American
19:37people have
19:38risen up and
19:38said, no,
19:40it's not
19:41happening.
19:44And the
19:44MAGA extremists
19:45have chickened
19:47out.
19:48They are
19:49supposed to be
19:50tough guys.
19:51They regularly
19:52are pushed
19:54back.
19:56And they
19:57will again
19:58if they
19:59try to
20:00move
20:01on
20:03renaming
20:03these
20:04Navy
20:05vessels.
20:06Thanks.
20:08You said
20:09after
20:10Congresswoman
20:11was
20:12physically
20:13accosted
20:14by
20:14officials
20:15that you
20:15wanted them
20:16identified
20:16officials
20:17to
20:17have
20:18been identified
20:19and what
20:20do you expect
20:21from or do you
20:22want the
20:22agents that were
20:23harassing
20:24every single
20:30ICE agent
20:33who's engaged
20:35in this
20:35aggressive
20:36overreach
20:37and are
20:38trying to
20:38hide their
20:39identities
20:40from the
20:40American
20:41people
20:41will be
20:43unsuccessful
20:43in doing
20:44that.
20:45This is
20:45America.
20:47This is not
20:47the Soviet
20:48Union.
20:48We're not
20:49behind the
20:49Iron Curtain.
20:50this is not
20:52the 1930s
20:53and every
20:55single one
20:56of them
20:56no matter
20:58what it
20:58takes,
20:59no matter
20:59how long
20:59it takes
21:00will of
21:00course be
21:01identified.
21:02That in
21:02fact is
21:02the law
21:03and
21:06we're going
21:08to make
21:08sure
21:09that the
21:10American
21:10people have
21:11the
21:11transparency
21:12necessary
21:13to hold
21:15people
21:16accountable
21:16when they're
21:19folks who
21:19cross the
21:21line here
21:23in America.
21:25That's what's
21:26going to
21:26happen.
21:28And as I
21:29mentioned
21:29earlier,
21:30I spoke to
21:32Congressman
21:32Nadler about
21:34this.
21:35Our first
21:36priorities are
21:37always going
21:37to be making
21:38sure the
21:39person who
21:39is on the
21:40front line
21:41is in
21:45the best
21:45possible
21:46place
21:46to move
21:48forward.
21:49That's the
21:50case with
21:50LaMonica
21:51MacGyver
21:51and it
21:52is also
21:52the case
21:53with
21:55Congressman
21:55Nadler's
21:56brave,
21:57young,
21:58patriotic
21:58staffer.
22:00We've
22:01got to
22:01address
22:02those issues
22:03first.
22:03That's
22:03the human
22:04thing to
22:04do.
22:06While
22:07simultaneously,
22:08of course,
22:08preparing
22:08to deal
22:10with the
22:10broader
22:10policy
22:11implications,
22:12which,
22:13as I
22:13mentioned,
22:15are underway.
22:16Go back
22:17to the
22:17side.
22:19Yep.
22:20All two
22:21members of
22:21the congressional
22:22black conference
22:23are going to
22:23be a member
22:24of the
22:24website.
22:25Do you
22:26think the
22:26CBC will
22:27handle that?
22:28It's a good
22:28question.
22:29We have a
22:29CBC meeting
22:31on Wednesday.
22:31At some
22:32point, I
22:32think both
22:32members will
22:33present
22:34themselves
22:35before the
22:36CBC,
22:37along with
22:38the two
22:38non-CBC
22:39members.
22:40That has
22:40been the
22:40traditional
22:41practice.
22:43And at the
22:44end of the
22:44day, may
22:44the best
22:45woman, may
22:45the best
22:45man win.
22:47We'll see
22:47what happens.
22:48On our
22:49side of the
22:49aisle, there's
22:49actually an
22:50election.
22:51It's a
22:51democratic
22:51process.
22:52People make
22:53their case
22:54to every
22:55single one
22:56of the
22:56House
22:56Democratic
22:56caucus
22:57members,
22:58who then
22:59decide the
23:00best path
23:01forward.
23:02This is not
23:02the first
23:02time that
23:04multiple
23:05CBC
23:05members have
23:07been in a
23:09race together
23:10with each
23:11other, and
23:12it's always
23:12been handled
23:14like a
23:15family.
23:17Decades
23:17ago, Greg
23:20Meeks and
23:20Jim Clyburn
23:21ran against
23:22each other
23:22in the same
23:23race for
23:25vice chair of
23:26the House
23:26Democratic
23:26caucus.
23:28At the end
23:29of the day,
23:29it worked out
23:29well for both
23:30of them.
23:32Barbara Lee
23:33and I
23:33were in a
23:34race together
23:34to be
23:36chair of the
23:37House
23:37Democratic
23:37caucus.
23:39She had
23:40an incredible
23:41career in the
23:41United States
23:42Congress, and
23:42now she's
23:43the mayor
23:43of Oakland
23:44and a
23:46great friend
23:47and colleague
23:48to me
23:49and to all
23:50of us
23:51within the
23:52CBC, a
23:52great leader.
23:54Those are
23:54just two
23:55of several
23:55examples.
23:56So the
23:56CBC will
23:57handle it
23:58like a
23:58family in
23:59the same
23:59way that
23:59we've
23:59always
24:00handled it
24:00like a
24:01family.
24:03And
24:03at the
24:04end of the
24:05day, the
24:05caucus will
24:05make its
24:06decision.
24:07Leadership, of
24:08course, remains
24:08aggressively
24:09neutral.
24:11As is the
24:11case, we
24:12don't put our
24:12thumb on the
24:13scale, which
24:14is what happens
24:14on the other
24:15side of the
24:15aisle.
24:18And
24:18we'll see
24:20what happens
24:21at the end
24:21of the day
24:21over the next
24:22few weeks.
24:25Say it again?
24:28That's an
24:28interesting question.
24:29That's probably
24:29best ask to
24:30Yvette Clark
24:31and the
24:32CBC executive
24:33board.
24:34At this point,
24:34I'm just a
24:35voting member.
24:38There are now
24:39four candidates
24:40in the
24:40oversight race.
24:41Two of them
24:41are 44 and
24:4247.
24:43The other
24:43two are 70
24:44and 77.
24:45After what
24:46happened with
24:46Congressman Connolly
24:47and some other
24:4870-year-old members,
24:49some of whom have
24:49been in new
24:50leadership positions
24:51and were
24:52essentially pushed
24:53out of those
24:54positions,
24:55what do you
24:56say to Democrats
24:56both here in
24:58Congress and
24:58outside of Congress
24:59who worry that
25:00the seniority
25:01system is once
25:02again going to
25:02elevate someone
25:03that many of
25:04them feel is not
25:04up for the job?
25:05There were three
25:06competitive races
25:07in the aftermath
25:10of the November
25:112024 election.
25:15Competitive race
25:16for the Ag
25:18Committee,
25:19leadership,
25:20a competitive race
25:20for natural
25:21resources,
25:23and a potentially
25:24competitive race
25:25to head the
25:27Judiciary Committee,
25:29ultimately
25:29resulting in
25:32Jerry Nadler,
25:35a great former
25:36chair making
25:37the decision
25:37to stand down,
25:38and Jamie
25:41Raskin,
25:41an amazing
25:42leader,
25:44enabled to
25:45step up.
25:47So,
25:48the record
25:50most recently
25:53speaks for
25:53itself,
25:53which is just
25:54that the
25:54caucus is
25:55going to
25:55make a
25:56decision
25:56on the
25:58merits
25:59as to who
26:00they think
26:01is best
26:02qualified to
26:03lead the
26:04committee
26:04moving forward
26:05in the same
26:06way that
26:08Rosa DeLauro
26:09and Frank
26:10Pallone
26:11and Richie
26:12Neal
26:12and Maxine
26:13Waters
26:13continue to
26:15lead their
26:15committees
26:16and are
26:16doing an
26:17extraordinary
26:17job and
26:19showed an
26:19amazing amount
26:20of fight
26:20in connection
26:22with the
26:23GOP tax
26:23game.
26:24Thanks.
26:26Thank you,
26:27Peter.
26:28With
26:29Democrats
26:30vowing the
26:31plight
26:31to be
26:31one big
26:32beautiful bill
26:33as much
26:33as possible,
26:34do you believe
26:35there should
26:35be any
26:37pressure on
26:37leader
26:37Schumer
26:38when it
26:38comes to
26:39trying to
26:39block
26:39this
26:40field?
26:41Schumer
26:41and I
26:41had a
26:42great
26:42conversation
26:43over the
26:44weekend.
26:46His
26:46caucus
26:46is ready,
26:48willing,
26:49and able
26:49to meet
26:51this moment
26:51under his
26:53leadership,
26:54and I
26:54expect
26:55strong,
26:56forceful,
26:58principled,
26:59and unified
27:00Democratic
27:01opposition
27:02in the
27:02United States
27:03Senate.
27:03Last
27:04question.
27:06Thank you,
27:06Mr.
27:06Leader.
27:07So,
27:07these
27:07past
27:08couple
27:08months,
27:08you
27:09have
27:09in your
27:10messaging
27:10been
27:10attacking
27:11Elon Musk
27:11and at
27:12times you
27:12have been
27:12using him
27:13as a
27:13proxy for
27:14Donald Trump
27:14himself.
27:15Now that
27:16you supposedly
27:16agree with
27:17him in
27:17opposing this
27:18one ugly
27:19bill,
27:19like you
27:20call it.
27:20Not
27:20supposedly,
27:22actually
27:23agree.
27:23Okay,
27:24so now that
27:24you agree
27:24with him,
27:25are you
27:25concerned
27:26that
27:26undercuts
27:26your
27:27messaging
27:27against
27:28Elon Musk
27:29all along,
27:30and you
27:30know,
27:30why should
27:30go as
27:31the
27:31after
27:33this?
27:35I don't
27:35quite understand
27:36that question
27:36actually,
27:37but,
27:38you know,
27:38you agree
27:38with someone
27:39when you
27:39agree with
27:40them,
27:40you strongly
27:40disagree with
27:41them when
27:41you disagree
27:42with them,
27:42and on
27:42this particular
27:43issue,
27:45the bill is
27:45a disaster.
27:46The fact
27:47that I
27:49agree with
27:49Elon Musk
27:50that it's
27:51an abomination
27:52should not
27:53be unclear
27:54to anyone
27:55based on
27:56weeks of
27:58Democrats
27:58aggressively
27:59pushing back
28:00against the
28:01one big
28:02ugly bill.
28:03I'm not
28:03revealing any
28:04secrets.
28:06In fact,
28:06I'm stating
28:06the obvious.
28:08The bill is
28:09an abomination.
28:10It's a
28:10disaster.
28:11Republicans
28:11should be
28:12ashamed of
28:13themselves.
28:14I don't
28:14know why
28:14Elon Musk
28:15made the
28:15decision to
28:17make this
28:17statement,
28:18but he's
28:18not wrong.
28:20He's not
28:21wrong.
28:23This bill
28:24will be a
28:24disaster for
28:26the American
28:26people, and
28:27it should be
28:28stopped in
28:28the United
28:29States Senate.
28:36That's my
28:36friend at the
28:37pool camera.
