A clothing sale of some of Princess Diana's most celebrated looks is set to take place in Beverly Hills on Thursday. An exhibition with some of the selected pieces went on display at an exclusive private exhibition at the Peninsula Hotel in London ahead of the auction. Speaking at the exhibition, Elizabeth Emanuel - who designed Diana's wedding dress for her 1981 wedding to King Charles - said: "People want to be closer to her. She was just such a pure soul, such a good and wonderful person and people want to remember her through whatever means."

00:00Museums love to own these items because of course Diana is a huge draw. She brings
00:05people through the doors and then the investors are looking at it because they
00:08know Diana is going to be around forever. She's iconic, she'll be iconic in 21, 25.
00:13That's what Diana represents. People want to be part of, they want to touch it, they
00:18want to be closer to her and so that's you know one of the reasons that I
00:23wanted to put these in and my sketches as well because people want a bit of that.
00:28She was just such a pure soul, you know, such a good, wonderful person. People
00:34want to remember her through whatever means you know. I think she would be
00:38astounded that I mean everybody is really.
00:58So I just didn't have that memory.
01:08It's like I'm going to leave all that.
