00:00He has been a wildly productive player in the NFL.

00:03Like, when he's on the field, he's productive.

00:05And you could talk about, you know, how long he stays with the team

00:08or just the overall team success or whatever you want to talk about.

00:12But even as a rookie, he breaks into the league, has 720 yards receiving,

00:17and up until last year, where he only played half the year, that was the low.

00:22That would lead the Patriots in receiving every year for the last, like, five years.

00:25Seriously.

00:26Like, that's a great number, and that's half of his production when he went to the Bills.

00:29Right, since Edelman's knee went to smithereens, it's easily the best receiver they've had,

00:35assuming any health.

00:36And that was a guy that started nine games and was a rookie, whatever he was,

00:40fifth-round pick, I think he was, coming out of Maryland.

00:42So there wasn't even a ton of expectation around him.

00:45That's the low mark.

00:47So it is coming off.

00:48Like, I think it's more the knee than anything else, right?

00:50When you say, like, can you trust the guy?

00:51Like, he has been this kind of personality, this character his whole career.

00:55And those teams, maybe they have their headaches, right?

00:59They see him.

01:00They've got to control him, yelling at quarterbacks or whatever.

01:03But he's yelling at a quarterback while he's catching 100 balls for 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns.

01:08So as long as the knee is okay, now that's the question.

01:12Like, he's going to be 32 in November.

01:13So is he going to be closer to the really good wide receivers that joined the Patriots late in their careers

01:21that didn't really do much?

01:22You know, like the Joey Galloway, Torrey Holtz, Reggie Waynes.

01:26Now, Wayne was much older when he came here and didn't even make the team.

01:29But, like, guys like that that they took a shot at and then didn't make it.

01:33Or is he going to be productive?

01:35Does he have a couple – one year?

01:37Like, we don't even need to talk about the whole contract.

01:39Does he have one year in him where he can be a number one receiver?

01:43I think yes.

01:43I mean, maybe that's just me being too positive.

01:45I think he does.

01:46I think he has one more year at least of that.

01:47So can you depend on him?

01:49My answer would be I'm now back to where I started with him.

01:52Like, I think I've forgiven the both thing.

01:55Like, I wasn't sure all last week how that was going to play out and was he going to show up.

02:00The fact he was here yesterday, I'll tell you, I don't think he looked perfect.

02:03I won't go as far as Hart did yesterday.

02:05He's got a hitch in his giddy-up, and he doesn't quite look right, and he's limping around.

02:08Yeah, no, he was down on it.

02:09I thought it was, like, promising considering the guy tore his ACL

02:12on Halloween.

02:12I'll be honest, that video looked a lot better than I thought.

02:15So, like, now I'm more open to the idea that maybe he will be ready week one.
