Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said his country should be able to enrich uranium as part of its peaceful nuclear programme and warned any attempt to deny Iran this right would make future agreements impossible.

Araghchi’s remarks follow repeated statements by U.S. President Donald Trump that any new nuclear agreement with Iran must include a halt to uranium enrichment.
