00:00Giants and the Padres both playing pretty good baseball this year and San Diego comes away with
00:06a win in the opening game of this midweek set. One nothing in extras DRS. We were scoreless
00:13in regulation. Steven Kolick for San Diego. Great. Logan Webb, eight innings of shutout baseball.
00:20The A's for San Francisco. But in the 10th inning, Jose Iglesias, an RBI sack fly for the Padres.
00:27That was the game winner. San Diego takes the opener as a pretty hefty underdog on the road.
00:32One zip total of seven and a half, of course, stays well under. Yeah, what a tough loss for San
00:37Francisco at home. You take a look, as you said, Logan Webb was sensational yesterday. Eight innings
00:42pitched, no walks yesterday, no earned runs and seven strikeouts. But then you take a look at the
00:47batters for the San Francisco Giants. It's not for lack of trying. One of 12 with runners in scoring
00:52position and that one base hit with a runner in scoring position didn't even equate to a run
00:56because why? They didn't score a single run yesterday. But you have to give a lot of props.
01:01The San Diego bullpen has been very good over the past couple of years. Kolick with a great start.
01:04More John Estrada, Adam, and how about Suarez coming in late in that game? Two full innings
01:09pitched, no earned runs given up. He actually got the victory in that game. And away you move forward.
01:14Fantastic stuff from that bullpen, but just unclutch hitting from the San Francisco Giants.
