Govt to supply DSWD food program with P20/kilo rice   Social Welfare Secretary Rex Gatchalian says on June 3, 2025 that the government is integrating the sale of P20 per kilo rice into the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Walang Gutom Program to make it more accessible to 'food poor' beneficiaries.  At a Palace press briefing, Gatchalian said the Department of Agriculture would supply P20 per kilo of rice to accredited retailers of the DSWD for their food program. 00:25Ah, nagsas-start na. Binigay na namin yung listahan sa Department of Agriculture

00:30and they're now going to make sure na yung mga retailers na ito,

00:34around 1,000 of them for now, e makatanggap na ng murang bigas

00:38para yun ang maibigay naman nila doon sa mga food poor nating beneficiaris.

00:42Yung mga food poor natin na mga beneficiaryo.

00:44Ang hininig sa amin ng Department of Agriculture, yung listahan ng mga retailers

00:48para pwede nilang supplyan ng 20 pesos na bigas.

00:54Kasi tatandaan nyo yung credit, food credit, 3,000 yun.

00:57So kung bumaba yung cost na mga bilihin, like in nice, mas marami silang mabibili.

01:04So pwede nilang magamit sir yung food credit doon sa mga retailers na yun

01:07to buy yung 20 pesos per day?

01:09At ngayon, ginagamit na nila yung food credits na yun sa mga accredited retailers.

01:13Ang magiging bagong dimension ito,

01:15susupplyan ng Department of Agriculture yung mga retailers na yun

01:19ng murang bigas.
