00:12So, back in 2023, I was just playing around, I was just jamming and
00:17I actually sampled it in one of my originals and it was just an idea.
00:23That's why I didn't develop it completely, I had just kept it on my folder and
00:29it was actually said at one point of time.
00:31But when I got signed with Sare Gama is when I was playing it to the team
00:37and in a listening session, I just played it to them and they really loved it.
00:41So, we planned to develop it in a full-on song but keeping Vesha Mastani as a sample
00:47in between the original. So, it's out there now.
00:52Sare Gama has signed with Iconic label, how many moments are there?
00:59I mean, any artist's career, it's one of the milestones in their career and
01:05maybe it's one of the biggest moments yet because
01:10music was mostly independent and I have retained the independent essence in my music
01:18but now, I have a team who is aligned with my vision and I'm really grateful that I have a team
01:25who is supporting my music with my vision and they're also really excited and they're not someone who
01:33who just want to impose their music on me and that's what I really like.
01:37that what I want to do that, the way I want to do that, the way I want to do that, the how I want to live in my music and the way I want to do that.
01:44They are also aligned with that and helping me bring that out to the world.
01:48Your blend of fork, electronic and Hindustani classical are very unique.
01:53Do you have to naturally develop your own consciousness?
01:57See, I started with Hindustani classical music.
02:01When I was 4 years old, I started learning Indian classical vocals.
02:05The rest of the genres were later on in my life.
02:10I started in Bollywood when I was 13, 14.
02:13I started to explore Bollywood.
02:15I was only Indian classical.
02:17After that, in 2020, 2021,
02:21I started to produce.
02:24That's when I started exploring more of independent music,
02:29independent genre sounds.
02:32Global pop genre sounds.
02:35Later on in 2023, when I was part of MTV Hustle,
02:40I was one of the producers.
02:42That's when I explored the hip-hop genre.
02:45So, CSRG's are one of the parts of my musical journey.
02:49There were several genres in my musical journey.
02:52And now, these are different sounds.
02:55And now, these are different sounds.
02:57So, I have been a musician all my life.
02:58Again, I've been a musician all my life.
02:59Again, just as I've been told since I was 4.
03:00Since I've known myself, I've been into music.
03:02So, I just want to put out the music that I really resonate with.
03:05So, I just want to put out the music that I really resonate with.
03:08So, yeah, I just want to put out the music that I really resonate with.
03:10So, yeah, I just want to put out the music that I really resonate with.
03:15So, yeah, I just want to put out the inspiration.
03:40Do you think that classical songs have to be a risk to reimagining classical music?
04:10I think it will always resonate with the audience.
04:12Do you have a feeling like this in your version of Shyam Astani?
04:18Do you know that?
04:20I mean...
04:22That Shyam Astani, as far as I understand your question.
04:26You've done a remix of that song,
04:32so those who are new people,
04:34do you have to listen to that song?
04:38I will get to know once I get proper feedback from my listeners,
04:44but as far as the feedback has come,
04:46people are really loving it on Spotify and Instagram.
04:48On Instagram, they started a trend,
04:50where they are sitting in front of their balconies in the evening,
04:54and they are having a cup of tea in their traditional ethnic wear.
04:58So I think it has really connected with the people.
05:01I think it is a new way to consume it,
05:07which was also my take on the song.
05:11Obviously, it is a nevergreen song,
05:13and it is not possible to die from themselves,
05:17but what I have tried to do is,
05:19I have tried to keep the same essence,
05:21but in my way.
05:22In my treatment,
05:23in my sonics,
05:25in my sound,
05:26I have tried to keep the same essence,
05:28as well as I have done.
05:29Do you have an independent artist's attitude?
05:31Are you serious?
05:32No,
05:33No,
05:34because from day one,
05:35when I started working with Sare Gama,
05:38we were always on the same page.
05:41I knew both of them,
05:43we decided that,
05:45I will retain my sonic identity,
05:49my musical identity,
05:51the songs that I do,
05:52and that's the reason that they came on board,
05:54is because they love my music,
05:56and not because,
05:57they just see me as a singer,
05:59who will utilize their songs.
06:02No,
06:03that was not the case.
06:04They really love my music,
06:06and that's why they are on board,
06:07that's why we are working together,
06:09and that's why we are trying to put out the songs,
