Berlin court rules rejection of asylum seekers at borders unlawful

The court says the rejections of asylum seekers violates German law and is not in line with the EU’s Dublin system which demands that every member state conduct a thorough investigation to determine which EU country is responsible for processing the application.

01:48In May, his conservative government unveiled new measures which seek to impose a blanket ban on asylum applications.
