00:04got together with a guest that was married, and that was kind of the start of the downward spiral.

00:11That's what Frasier said. Is that fair to say?

00:13Yeah, well, you know, we're going to see how it all develops on the show.

00:18If one of my staff is with a married person on the boat, they're not going to stay on the boat.

00:27But you're breaking a boundary there that you can't cross.

00:33Kyle works very hard. He has a lot of respect.

00:36Last season, he was led astray by the bosun, but I think he needs to keep it in his pants.

00:44Yes. Is that like the number one rule for you, like cannot cross that line with a guest?

00:51Well, if I don't find out about it, it never happened, right?

00:54It never happened, yes.

00:55The two falls in the woods, there's no one around. Does that make a noise?

00:57True, true.

00:57If I find out about it, there's consequences.

01:00Yeah. Are you anxious to see exactly what, because obviously you don't see and hear everything,

01:05but you will once we watch this back. Are you anxious to see what kind of happens?

01:08Yeah, so there was an investigation done.

01:10Okay.

01:11So, you know, I'm not too sure how much that will be shown,

01:14but I did a thorough investigation before I made my decision.

01:17Mm-hmm.

01:18So it'd be interesting to see what happens after I interviewed each of the crew members,

01:22what was actually said behind.

01:24Behind, yeah.

01:25And that's what's exciting for me is I don't get to see what's going on below deck

01:29because I'm in the wheelhouse or I might be here.

01:32Yeah.

01:32I can't be everywhere.

01:33Mm-hmm.

01:33And I don't micromanage.

01:35I allow my crew to grow.

01:37Mm-hmm.

01:37And I like to be here and there to help encourage people.

01:41And there's a lot I don't see, and there's even more I don't want to see.

01:44Of course, yeah.

01:45Were you disappointed, though, because, like you said, he was led astray last season?

01:49Mm-hmm.

01:49Were you hoping that he would step up to that leadership role,

01:52which he so wanted to at the beginning of the season?

01:55Yeah.

01:55Well, he's, I mean, remember last season, he didn't have much more experience than Solana.

02:00Sure.

02:00Yeah, right.

02:01That's true.

02:01Right.

02:02But he has a very strong work ethic.

02:06Yeah.

02:06And he's a very good crew member to have around.

02:09Mm-hmm.

02:09He doesn't have any ego.

02:11Yeah.

02:11He gets the job done.

02:12He works hard.

02:13Yeah.

02:14And, you know, I want to see him to grow on the ranks.

02:18I want to see him continue in the franchise, and let's see if he can't be a bosun one day.

02:22Yeah.

02:23But maybe that's over for him.

02:26Mm-hmm.
