'Nobody Want This' star Jackie Tohn chats with THR at Netflix's Tudum event and talks about what it is like working with Leighton Meester and how cute it was to see her act with her husband Adam Brody. Plus, she reveals what fans can expect from season 2 of the show.
00:00So season two coming. What did you think when you read these scripts? I laughed. I think I'm really excited most for season two because when you only have, you know, 10 episodes of a half hour show for season one, how multidimensional can we get? We're establishing everybody sort of as who they are. And then I think in season two, you made the mold and now you can break it. Oh, this character is this way. But is she also this way? And it's really exciting to get to play a lot more
00:29angles of a person and really like open up a person who she is. Yeah. And Leighton joining you guys. How's that? Did you know that she has a pretty face and a great personality? Okay. I think a lot of people, yeah, might think she's bad to be around and horrible to look at. But my opinion, I mean, she's such a light. It's just such a ridiculous. She's wonderful to have around. One of my favorites was like watching her and Adam act like they don't know each other. It's really cute. It's just like they're in a scene and you're just like, oh, I know a secret. But everybody knows that they have children and
00:59they are not strangers to one another. Yeah. How is the season going to compare to the first, do you feel like? I mean, that's up for the fans to say. You know, it's very interesting. It's like, it's not like when we were making season one, we knew that this was going to be, if you'll excuse me, a cultural juggernaut, which is the words people use, which makes me giggle. So it's like, wait, nobody knew. And so we love season two. We hope everybody loves it. And I think it's going to be, you know, the energy is there. The cast is there. The writing is there. It's all there.
01:29So, well, thingies crossed. I would not have done that if I was playing. You guys are acting chill and fucking Oscar Isaac is right there.
