00:03If you've watched this video, it's because you'd like to know if it's possible to insert an image into a shape in Microsoft PowerPoint.
00:12Well, now I'm going to show you how to do it quickly and easily.
00:17Okay, the first thing we're going to do is choose the shape in which we want to insert the image.
00:23To do this, we're going to go here just above on the left and click on Insert and then on Shapes.
00:29When we click on Shape, this menu will open.
00:32Well, in this menu, we're going to select the shape in which we want to insert a photo.
00:38For example, we can choose a square shape or an elliptical shape or a rectangle with rounded corners, even arrows and so on.
00:46Okay, so we're going to put Unips here and click with the left mouse button and we're going to make an ellipse.
00:51Once we've created the shape, we'll see that a new option called Shape Format appears here at the top.
00:59We click on Shape Format and here we can, for example, configure the shape fill, the outline, etc.
01:06For example, if we click on Shape Fill, as you can see, it was blue by default, while I can change it to another color, for example, yellow.
01:14We can make it bigger, smaller, etc., and move it around the screen.
01:21Well, to insert an image with a shape into PowerPoint, we're going to go here at the top left, where it says Insert and we're going to click on Images.
01:31Here we can insert the image from this device, images or online files.
01:35Another way to access this section is directly by placing the mouse cursor inside the shape.
01:43We right-click and click on Fill.
01:47Okay.
01:48And here in Fill we get the image option and here we select from a file, images from an online file, etc.
01:55Well, we're going to click from a file to access the local storage of our PC.
01:58This is where we will have to look for the image that we want to put inside said shape.
02:08In my case, I want to put this little dog in.
02:11So we click on Insert and that's it.
02:13Here we have it.
02:15Good.
02:17Now, if you've noticed, once we've inserted the image into the shape, the image format option appears, which wasn't there before.
02:23If we click here, all these options will appear where we can configure the image that appears inside the shape.
02:34We can even crop it.
02:36If we go here to the top right, we can grab it and click on Crop.
02:40If we click on Crop, we can do several things here.
02:45To start, if we left-click on the image, we can move it around the shape.
02:49Even if we go here to the corners that appear with little circles, we can make the image bigger and then square it up.
03:02And we can also click here on the edges to change the shape of the ellipse or the geometric shape that we've chosen.
03:11Another thing we can do in image format and cropping is, for example, fill.
03:15Imagine that this is out of square, the image with respect to the shape.
03:21Well, we can click on Fill here.
03:24And as you can see, it's filled, it's completed.
03:28Another thing we can also do in cropping is adjust.
03:32We click on Adjustments here and it adjusts, it frames what would be the image.
03:38And well, here you can tweak it so that you have the image that you need in all the ways.
03:42And we can even take and crop the shape.
03:48That is to say, once we have already established this ellipse, we can choose another shape.
03:55For example, I don't know, uh, a square with rounded corners, you see?
03:59And finally, we can also change the aspect ratio, make it square, vertical, horizontal.
04:13Let's put it, for example, in vertical four-fifths.
04:17You see, it would look something like this.
04:19And you square it up and that's it.
04:28It's that easy to include a photo inside a shape in PowerPoint.
