00:00¿Quieres necesitar una imagen en PowerPoint, pero no sabes cómo hacerlo?
00:05No te preocupes, no te preocupes.
00:28We left click and go to images.
00:31When we click on image, we'll see that we can insert images in 3 different ways.
00:37Online images, ok.
00:41These are the images that PowerPoint has uploaded to the internet, stock images, which is basically the PowerPoint library, the images that it offers you, are this device.
00:52In my case, I'm going to click on this device because the photo that I want to crop into a shape is on my PC.
01:02This will open this section, which is the PC, the file explorer, and we will look for the image we want to crop to a shape, in my case this image, and click insert.
01:14Ok, as you can see, this image takes up the entire slide.
01:20If you notice, we can crop it or make it smaller directly from the corners where these circles appear, ok.
01:28That way we can make it smaller.
01:31But what you want to do is crop it to a shape.
01:35If you notice, once we have placed the image, a new section appears up here called image format.
01:41So we click with the left mouse button and this new menu will appear.
01:46Well, to crop to a shape, we will go here to the right where it says crop and you will see that there is a little arrow, so we click on it and it will give us the option to crop to a shape.
01:59If we move the cursor over crop to shape, this new menu will appear and we can crop it with all these arrow shaped figures, even.
02:10Ok, so I'm going to give it this elliptical shape.
02:13So if we click here, as you can see, it's been cropped.
02:20Ok, so if we want, we can distort the image by making it smaller, again by clicking on the little circles that appear on the sides above and below.
02:28But we can also take and crop the image into an elliptical shape, making the shape smaller, but without distorting the image.
02:40To do this, to crop it again, we'll have to leave the cursor over the image.
02:45We click with the right mouse button and here at the top it says crop.
02:50We click on crop and now, if you notice, it gives me the option to continue cropping the shape.
02:57Let's see if without distorting the image.
03:01Once we want to save our changes, we click outside the slide and they'll be saved.
03:13Do we want to give it another shape?
03:18Ok, so we click on the image, go to image format, go back to crop, and crop to shape, and we can give it a different shape, like a diamond shape.
03:29See? And we've applied a diamond shape to the shape we already had.
03:34And that's it.
03:36It's that easy to crop an image into a shape in PowerPoint.
03:41And did you know this trick? If you want, you can leave me a comment.
