00:00As testimony continued into week three of Sean Diddy Combs' sex trafficking and racketeering trial,
00:05the music mogul's former assistant recalled what she witnessed during her time working for Combs.
00:10Capricorn Clark took the stand May 27th, and the rap mogul's former assistant,
00:14who worked for Combs on and off from 2004 to 2020,
00:18told the court she witnessed him assault his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura,
00:22including after he learned about her romance with rapper Kid Cudi,
00:25whose real name is Scott Muscutty, in 2011.

00:30Clark also stated that she helped Ventura buy a burner phone for her relationship with Muscutty out of fear for her safety.
00:49She also noted that she didn't call the authorities amid the assault,
00:52but contacted Ventura's mom, Regina Ventura, during the incident.
00:55Clark testified,
00:57She alleged that Combs had fired her in 2012 for not telling him about Ventura and Muscutty's relationship,
01:12arguing that she lost everything, including her health insurance, 401k retirement savings, her car, and her credit cards.
01:19Clark told jurors,
01:20Clark said she returned to the fold as creative director for Ventura from 2016 until 2018.
01:33Clark alleged that after Combs found out that Ventura and Muscutty had been dating,
01:37he went to the rapper's home with a gun on December 22, 2011.

01:42Clark said that she allegedly called Ventura to let her know that Combs brought her with a gun to Cudi's house to kill him.
02:03She also accused Combs of threatening to kill her and Ventura.
02:07Clark said that the incident took place after the rat mogul allegedly broke into Muscutty's home,

02:12On May 28th, Judge Aaron Subramanian swiftly denied the defense's May 28th request for a mistrial.
02:25Combs' team objected to testimony from arson investigator Lance Jimenez.
02:29A prosecution witness called to speak about Kid Cudi's car being set on fire in January 2012,
02:35after the official said that fingerprints lifted during the investigation had been destroyed.
02:40Defense attorney Mark Agnifilo argued that the testimony about the lost fingerprints should be stricken from the record
02:45because it suggested that someone in the court was responsible for the destruction.
02:49The judge sustained Agnifilo's objection, but denied co-counsel Alexandra Shapiro's move for a mistrial.
02:55As celebrity stylist Deontay Nash took the stand during week three,
02:59he shared insight into the brief romance between Michael B. Jordan and Cassie Ventura.
03:04Nash explained of their budding romance during cross-examination,
03:07dating, talking, getting to know each other.
03:09He also testified that he did hook up Ventura with the Black Panther star in 2015 after the singer split from Combs.
03:16A former personal assistant of Combs, who went by the pseudonym Mia during her testimony,
03:21alleged on the stand that the rat mogul had sexually assaulted her multiple times while working for him.
03:26She told the jury that the first alleged assault was by her employer at his 40th birthday at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
03:33Mia said, alleging that she did not consent to the experience,
03:35He put his arm next to my head up against the wall and leaned in to, like, kiss me and put his other hand up the side of my dress.
03:42I was shocked and I froze. I didn't even process what was happening.
03:46The former employee also testified that she was once forced to perform oral sex on Combs in an attack,
03:51which she said made her feel like trash.
03:54Mia also told prosecutors that she had witnessed her former employer attack his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura on multiple occasions.

04:02Mia also alleged in an October 2015 WhatsApp message read during his trial that the rat mogul didn't sound in his right mind.
04:15Mia wrote to Combs' then-chief of staff, Christina Karam,
04:18He is slurring his words. He threatened my job and he threatened to kill me.
04:22He said he was on the phone with HR. In other calls, he threatened to fire me.
04:26In response, Karam wrote,
04:27If you don't call him in the next two minutes, you don't have a job.
04:30Combs has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking, prostitution, racketeering conspiracy,
04:35sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution.
