00:00I think Leeds is a really good city, I think it's very up and coming, I think it's improved a lot
00:05over the last 15 years, some bits that I think are much better, there's much better restaurants
00:12and how they pedestrianise all around the station is really nice and there's lots going on,
00:17there's lots of pop-up events and yeah it's quite beautiful too. Leeds has got very good shops,
00:23the pubs are good, on Saturdays children, they have stuff on for children for all the day,
00:32on the precinct itself on Brigette. Leeds is an extremely lively city, it's full of culture,
00:37it's full of good people, you know like every city has its ups and downs but I think to be fair
00:42Leeds is always changing, I mean you disappear out of Leeds for six months and come back and
00:46everything's changed. I think there's some great cultural events going on in the city like the
00:51International Piano Festival and things like that but they don't always get that much publicity,
00:58I think that's because they only have seats for 200 but then five million people watch it online
01:02all over the world so whereas I think some of the other European cities that are probably on that list
01:08are doing that well like Barcelona and Madrid. What's good about Leeds is that it's got like a big
01:13shopping centre for loads of people to shop in. It's a really diverse city and everybody seems to
01:20integrate which I think is amazing and like George says loads of shops, loads of amazing shops and
01:27loads of culture, lots of art galleries and museums and parks and things like that.
01:36There's not much different to him but he thinks like Paris has its own vibe and also leads to like
01:43it's not the capital so of course it could not be as crowded as Paris. Sadly not really been able to
01:57travel to many European cities in the last sort of 10 years so Leeds is a local city we live up in the
02:03Dales. I love coming to Leeds, I love the vibrancy and the galleries and the restaurants. I think it's an
02:09amazing place and my sons are coming here to study and it's yeah I like it. I've been in Finland,
02:15I've been in Germany and Belgium. I mean but it's hard to be at Leeds. I mean it's a nice place
02:22don't go wrong but Leeds is still a good town. Leeds is more diverse and there is a lot of things to do
02:30in Leeds because when I grew up there's a lot of places you can go to, villages, the people you meet,
02:37everyone else I mean it's kind of interesting. I mean as a young kid different parts of the Leeds
02:42had its whole flavour, do you know what I mean? Barcelona is a brilliant absolutely brilliant
02:47city but I can't cope with the weather and I think that is just because I'm from Leeds and when you're
02:51from the north you can't get out of the north you know. You never have a time like you do in Leeds
02:56because I think of the people. Especially with like Yorkshire hospitality.
