00:00Power.
00:11Given the right lever, you can move a planet.
00:16In Dune Awakening, your path to power leads you through the Great Houses.
00:22But only accomplished guilds may earn their place among the Atreides or Harkonnen.
00:29Swear your allegiance and contribute to their rise in desert power.
00:35The Pledge is only the beginning.
00:39You have come far, and now it's time to take control of the Landsrad.
00:46The Landsrad is the Council of Great Houses that make decisions that impact all the players on all the servers in your world.
00:57Your goal, and that of your guild, is to secure their votes so that your faction, the Harkonnen or Atreides, can take control.
01:08To secure their votes and sway them to your side, you must complete specific house requirements on the Landsrad board.
01:17Alone or together with your guild, your efforts can move the needle.
01:23Be the first to fulfill a house requirement to not only secure their vote, but also reap their many rewards.
01:31Whether you enjoy PvE or PvP, there are many paths to victory.
01:43If you prefer the relative safety of the shield wall, there are many activities that will not put you into direct conflict with other players, while still contributing to your faction's rise to power.
01:54House Torvald wants you to eliminate sand flies.
02:01Rush in, or pick off the deserters one by one with your sniper rifle.
02:07House Rashis wants a delivery of ground cars.
02:14Join up with friends and build strongholds for large-scale production, and deliver them safely to the house representative by ground or air.
02:26Large-scale production is costly, and will require a lot of resources.
02:33To be able to craft certain high-tier items, you will also need the most sought-after resource of all.
02:45Spice.
02:47You can buy spice from spice merchants, or on the player-run exchange.
02:54And it can even be found in smaller pockets behind the shield wall.
03:04But to collect industrial quantities, you must venture into the unknown.
03:13The deep desert beckons.
03:16Here, violent Coriolis storms sweep across the vast expanse of sand.
03:23Resetting the map every week.
03:26Revealing new resources to mine.
03:31And points of interests to explore.
03:36This ever-changing environment offers endless exploration.
03:43But also, endless conflict.
03:46Each house in the Landsraab desires a specific control point in the deep desert.
03:54Seize it, and hold it over time to gain their vote.
03:59Fortify it, and be ready for a fight.
04:02Other players will soon come to take it from you.
04:07The deep desert is also home to frequent spice blows.
04:14Offering large quantities of the precious Melange.
04:24You need a lot of spice.
04:27Once you've located a spice blow, move your harvesters in place to collect.
04:33Just be ready to defend it with your life.
05:03After a week of politics, manufacturing, and conflict, one side emerges victoriously.
05:21The Harkonnen have seized the Landsraad.
05:24And the leaders of the player guilds who contributed to their victory.
05:29All get to vote for a decree that will impact everyone on a server belonging to that world.
