Chandigarh, May 28, 2025 (ANI): Punjab Special DGP (L&O) Arpit Shukla on May 28 briefed about the preparations for IPL match to be held in the Chandigarh. He also said that 64 gazetted officers and nearly 2500 police personnel will be on duty inside and outside the stadium. “Tomorrow and the day after that, two important IPL matches are going to be held in the Mullanpur Stadium. People from across the country will be coming for the matches. Proper arrangements have been made. 64 gazetted officers and nearly 2500 police personnel will be on duty inside and outside the stadium, and also throughout the city to ensure a good law and order situation. An officer of the rank of DIG has been made the overall in charge of the arrangements...,” said Punjab Special DGP Arpit Shukla.
