00:18Ikinalugod ni House Deputy Majority Leader Lawrence Defensor ang pahayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. na nagsasabing tanging Senado at Kamara lamang

00:30ang magkukumpas kung anuang kahihinatnan ng impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:36Ayon kay Defensor na isa rin sa mga miyembro ng House Prosecution Panel, inaabangan na nila ang pag-ilitis at naniniwala silang magiging patas dito ang mga Sen. Judges.

00:47I'm glad to hear that the President as the head of the Executive Department will not interfere with the impeachment process.

00:59It's good to hear that he will not be involved so that all parties will not be judged by any unjew interference from any department.

01:08Sa ngayon, nakahanda na ang House Prosecution Team para sa impeachment trial.

01:13Marami silang ebidensyang iaharap at tuloy-tuloy rin ang kanilang mga pagpupulong.

01:18One prosecutor will be asked to read the seven articles of impeachment during the June 2 session of the Senate.

01:28We had a meeting earlier this week regarding the June 2 presentation of the articles of impeachment.

01:35Sa panig ng Senado, may mga patakaran na rin ikinakasa ang mga mambabatas para sa paglilitis.

01:47Pagtitiyak ni Defensor, handa silang mag-adjust anumang panuntunan ang mapagkasunduan.

01:52It's up to the Senate how they will calendar the impeachment trial.

01:57If they want to amend their rules and approve it this 19th Congress, we have time to publish it.

02:02If they want to revise their impeachment rules during the 20th Congress, starting July 30, they can also do that.

02:12And we will wait until the publication period is finished because we leave it up to the Senate entirely.

02:18Bukod sa impeachment, pagtitiyak ng liderato ng Kamara, mananatili rin ang pagtutok nila sa iba pang mahalagang panukalang batas.

02:26May mga aaprobahan pa silang local and national bills bago magtapos ang 19th Congress.

02:32Sa susunod na linggo, baliksesyon na ang Kamara, kaya't inaasang iigtingtin ang mga aktividad ng mga kongresista.
