Three men have each been sentenced to 12 months in jail by the KL Sessions Court after pleading guilty to mischief by throwing paint at a house in Brickfields two months ago.

00:50resulting in damages of 10,000 ringgit. The charge was framed under Section 427 of the Penal Code,
00:58which carries up to five years imprisonment or fine or both, upon conviction.
01:03Deputy Public Prosecutor Noor Farhana Mohamed Poad sought for the court to consider the damages in
01:08the case and impose a just sentence against the accused persons. However, lawyer Nooruldiana
01:15Bashar from the National Legal Aid Foundation asked for a short jail sentence as her clients
01:19had families and had apologized for their actions.
