Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu: The annual festival at the Sri Veerathai Amman Temple in Katathi village was celebrated with great joy today. Over a thousand women took part in the event. They carried beautifully decorated pots in a grand procession. Special rituals and abhishekams were held at the Ayyanar and Veerathai Amman temples. The celebrations included drum beats and fireworks, attracting many devotees from the area.
