An unemployed man has pleaded guilty in the Sessions Court in Johor Baru to an armed robbery charge.

K. Murugan, 45, entered the plea after the charge was read to him before judge Datuk Che Wan Zaidi Che Wan Ibrahim on Wednesday (May 28).

00:30Murugan was charged under Section 397 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum sentence
00:36of 14 years jail with a possible fine or caning upon conviction.
00:42Judge Chewan Zaidi postponed sentencing to Thursday to allow the prosecution to present
