01:12Tapos yung dad ko naman moved here to be a doctor.

01:14So, starting out, I used to tag along with my parents.

01:17So, they were both car dealers.

01:19We used to buy cars every other day.

01:21We go to Manila Bulletin to sell the cars.

01:24Gumagamit pa kami nun ng paper to fill out a box, yung details ng each car na binibenta namin.

01:29Tapos pipila kami dun.

01:31Walang avenue dati to sell a car besides the newspaper.

01:34So, there's no avenue to buy a car.

01:36So, what we do, every morning, yung dad ko nagpa-plan ng route.

01:40Nililista niya yung car.

01:41Tapos, nischedule niya yung oras na pwede yung owner.

01:44My mom used to hold the map to go to where the seller lives.

01:48Natuto kong mahipag-usap sa tao, mahipag-negotiate.

01:51Nang maagang-maagang edad pa.

01:53Right now, in my collection, one of the most special car here, to me, is my Subaru STI.

02:04Accidentally, nabili ko siya.

02:06Yung plaka, naka-plaka sa akin, which is M&M 28, which is my birthday.

02:11In 28, it was Munir Mo Mani.

02:13Sabi ko, dream car ko to.

02:15I'll not let this go.

02:16Tapos, nung nakita ng anak ko, sabi niya, this is mine.

02:19With all the cars I have, yun yung gusto niya.

02:20Nasa kanya daw.

02:21I don't know why, pero yun yung gusto niya.

02:25So, saktong-saktong na apangalan yung plaka sa akin.

02:27So, I bought it.

02:28And now, I modded it out.

02:31Sinetapang ko siya na the way I like.

02:32Binild ko yung engine.

02:33Tapos, yan, yan.

02:34Siya yung sa pinaka-special cars ko dito.

02:37With regards to my sentimental value to it.

02:39I chose the Audi R8 because it was the best car that I could think of that I can enter the supercar market.

02:51It's an entry model V8 engine.

02:54Hindi pa siya ganung kamahal, like the V10s.

02:56Pero, I could get a glimpse na kung ano yung feeling ng owning ng supercar.

03:01How much it's gonna go up in value right now.

03:04Thinking na aangat na yung prices niya and it's gonna get harder and harder to find.

03:09Good looking and good condition ones na dito sa Pilipinas.

03:19On a random Thursday morning, Kyle messaged me.

03:23He sent me a screenshot of a car.

03:25Akala ko fake ad.

03:27Pagkakita ko, he sent me 15 minutes posted pa lang.

03:30I see it's a very rare na DMC DeLorean.

03:33Yung back to the future car.

03:35Sabi ko, wala naman ganito sa Pilipinas.

03:37Siguro fake ad.

03:38I decided to check it out.

03:40Tapos nakita ko sa photos.

03:42Nandun yung plaka and it indicated some issues na meron siyang mga melted parts.

03:46Kyle, mukhang totoo yung ad.

03:48Inquire natin pareho.

03:49Inquire namin, sabi ko, bro, kailangan natin makuha yan.

03:52Kailangan natin sila makausap na tayo yung right buyer para dyan sa kotse na yan.

05:05And na-involve pa siya sa house fire ng neighbor.

05:10So, nag-melt yung side mirror, yung trims.

05:13While nadama yung bahay niya,

05:15lumipat siya sa another location.

05:18The fire happened like 2014 pa eh.

05:21So, 11 years na siya.

05:23Na hindi na nagawa ni tatay yung car.

05:26So, ayun, sinabi niya lang sa amin yung story na yung anak niya, yung apo niya,

05:31wala daw interest sa, ano, with these kinds of cars.

05:35Basically, he's passing on the torch to us.

05:37So, may mga comments din dun na,

05:39kawawa naman si tatay.

05:41No, hindi siya kawawa.

05:42Kasi ano naman siya, may pera siya.

05:43But, he just don't have the energy to restore it anymore.

05:47He just give people chance na makabili nito.

05:51At kami yung nauna dun.

05:52So, happy ako na binigay niya sa amin yung pagkakataon to restore the car.

05:58Matagal na rin pinangalagaan yung kotse.

06:00At happy na rin daw siya na i-let go yung sasakyan.

06:03We love finding a needle in a haystack.

06:10So, we look for gems.

06:12Yung mga future classic or yung mga future na mag-a-appreciate ng value,

06:16yun yung mga inaanap natin.

06:18Yung mga classic examples na ito,

06:19mga early Mercedes-Benz,

06:22Mr. Slim and Pagoda,

06:24na produced ng mga 1960s yan,

06:26Jaguar E-Type.

06:28Yan, talagang mga naging very, very classic na design.

06:32Over time, mag-shoot up na mag-shoot up yung values.
