Trump Slams Harvard Over Proportion Of Foreign Students: 'We Have Americans That Want To Go There'

Speaking to reporters in Morristown, New Jersey, President Trump attacked Harvard for its proportion of students from foreign nations.

00:03On Harvard, do you think you'll come for their endowment in any way, or go after them financially?

00:09Look, part of the problem with Harvard is that there are about 31 percent, almost 31 percent, of foreigners coming to Harvard.

00:17We give them billions of dollars, which is ridiculous.

00:21We do grants, which we're probably not going to be doing much grants anymore to Harvard.

00:25But there are 31 percent, but they refuse to tell us who the people are.

00:29We want to know who the people are.

00:31Now, a lot of the foreign students we wouldn't have a problem with.

00:33I'm not going to have a problem with foreign students, but it shouldn't be 31 percent.

00:37It's too much because we have Americans that want to go there and to other places, and they can't go there because you have 31 percent foreign.

00:45Now, no foreign government contributes money to Harvard. We do.

00:50So why are they doing so many? Number one.

00:52Number two, we want a list of those foreign students, and we'll find out whether or not they're okay.

00:57Many will be okay, I assume, and I assume with Harvard many will be bad.

01:03And then the other thing is they're very anti-Semitic.

01:06Everybody knows they're anti-Semitic, and that's got to stop immediately.
