00:00If I had the incredible chance to be 20 again, with the wisdom I've collected over nine long decades, I wouldn't waste a single moment.
00:09Time, I've learned, is the only currency that never returns one spent.
00:14At 20, I thought I had endless tomorrows.
00:18Now, standing at the far end of life, I know that every second is a thread in the fabric of your legacy.
00:25I would treat time like gold dust, treasured, and never taken for granted.
00:31The first thing I'd do differently is love more openly and fearlessly.
00:36In my youth, I guarded my heart too closely, fearing rejection and vulnerability.
00:43But life has taught me that love, be it romantic, familial, or platonic, is the most meaningful experience we can have.
00:51I'd hug my parents more. I'd tell my friends how much they matter.
00:56I wouldn't let pride or petty arguments stand in the way of connection.
01:00Love, in all its forms, is the one thing that echoes beyond death.
01:06At 20, I cared far too much about what others thought.
01:10I dressed a certain way, chose a career path, even avoided hobbies I loaned.
01:15All because I was afraid of being judged.
01:17Looking back, that fear stole years of joy.
01:22If I had another chance, I'd dance even if I looked silly, sing even if I was off-key, and chase dreams that truly lit me up.
01:31People's opinions come and go, but your happiness is yours to protect.
01:38I'd take more risks. Not reckless ones, but bold ones.
01:42I let fear make too many decisions for me.
01:44I didn't move abroad when I had the chance.
01:48I passed on job offers that scared me.
01:51I stayed in relationships that felt safe, but small.
01:55Fear will always be there, but courage is a muscle.
01:58Use it or lose it.
02:00In my second go-around, I'd stretch that muscle until I was flying.
02:06Health.
02:07Oh, how I underestimated it.
02:10When you're young, your body feels invincible.
02:13I skipped workouts, ate carelessly, and didn't value sleep.
02:18Now, with aching joints and limited mobility, I see that a healthy body is your most faithful ally.
02:25I'd eat to nourish, move to celebrate, and rest to renew.
02:31I'd build habits that honor my body, not just react when it starts to break down.
02:37I'd spend less time scrolling and more time living.
02:41Technology is a marvelous thing, but it's a trap, too.
02:45I lost days to comparison, hours to mindless entertainment.
02:50If I were 20 today, I'd set boundaries with my screens and immerse myself in the real world.
02:57I'd look people in the eyes, feel the wind on my skin, and read actual books.
