00:00his previous owner had him living outside with no human interaction

00:11i set up his crate in a safe corner of the room and i just sat down and waited

00:19and slowly he did start to show some curiosity

00:27look who just came all the way over to see me well we're gonna be friends

00:34i know it the next morning i knew i had to get him to the backyard he hadn't gone to the bathroom

00:43just terrified of any human interaction he didn't want to let me put the leash on

00:57he didn't want me to touch him and he was very scared of the stairs

01:05once we got into the yard i saw his tail come up from under his legs like he was more comfortable

01:27that next morning i brought my dog ty out into the backyard hoping that it would help him feel

02:44even just his walk he would bounce shadow is doing so great especially for a dog who's

02:59you know probably never been on a leash he's doing awesome

03:04we got a lot of applications for shadow but there was one that really just stood out to me they were

03:18so kind to allow me and my dog ty to actually stay the first night there at their house so that we

03:26could make sure shadow settled in he seemed to just have an instant connection with them which

03:31wasn't the case with all people he's doing so well thriving he's happy with them

03:47they are the perfect family for him
