00:00Yeah, they've got work to do, Ross County.
00:02Yes, they got two goals in the first half and they played better than what they did on Thursday night,
00:06but I think they have to go another gear.
00:08This Livingston side aren't just going to roll over and accept where they are,
00:11they're going to chase the game, they're going to fight, they're going to press,
00:13and Ross County have to be ready to cope with it.
00:16Confirmation of the teams on your screen, no changes.
00:19Half-time.
00:23Bit more of the throw, into Smith.
00:26Smith, Kelly, trying to play it round the corner to Muirhead.
00:31He loses out, on to Wilson.
00:33Here's Danny Wilson.
00:35Considered chip-in.
00:37Nightingale away.
00:39Kelly.
00:41Kelly again, Randall couldn't clear.
00:43Here's the chance, little deflection.
00:46And almost the ideal start to the second half as Lewis Smith again causes problems.
00:51Yeah, Livingston have started the second half where they finished the first half.
00:54On the attack, forcing the game.
00:57Getting players around the ball.
01:00There's a real edginess about this Ross County back line,
01:02there's a nervousness that will really concern Don Cowie.
01:06If Livingston could strike now, they really will be in the ascendancy.
01:10Muirhead to the corner.
01:12Can he get it away?
01:16Smith might have hurt himself.
01:18He's got that away, it's picked up by Jamie Brandon, the skipper.
01:22Brandon launches it across.
01:25Still a man down.
01:26Ross County really should put that out of play.
01:29The referee will stop it for them.
01:32Livingston had every right to come forward because Ross County had played it.
01:39It has been a really bad start.
01:41It's actually George Harmon that's down.
01:43It's been a bad start.
01:44He just tried to get the ball away.
01:46Just overextended himself slightly.
01:49I like George Harmon as a player.
01:51I think he's done well.
01:52104 appearances now.
01:54Started both playoff final matches last season.
01:58Now he's taking part here.
02:01He actually played against Paddock Thistle as well the previous season.
02:04He's a great player, he's a jinx.
02:06It's one of the two.
02:09Beth McIver just doing some treatment.
02:12I think at times this season he hasn't played.
02:14And that's maybe just been a consequence of poor results from the manager
02:17trying to change the shape of the team and trying to change the personality.
02:20They inject some freshness into them.
02:24But he's a competitor.
02:25He's got energy in that left hand side.
02:26He's got a lovely left foot.
02:28The last thing Don Curry will be wanting to do just after halftime
02:31is have to change the setup.
02:34But again, they're going to have to be better, Ross County.
02:37They've started the second half poorly.
02:39Whatever Don Curry said to them at halftime, the players haven't taken on board.
02:42Because Livingston have been really aggressive.
02:46Small, Campbell.
02:48Mamesa.
02:51Jordan White tried to win it, Ryan McGowan did so.
02:54Kena chases.
02:56Fraser away.
03:03Two players coming together, but nothing in that Stephen Kelly.
03:06He'll take the throw, George Harman.
03:08And he's back on.
03:11You just get the sense that Livingston really fancy it.
03:13They know now they've got the goal that they desperately needed
03:16just to give them that little injection of belief.
03:19And they're not just going to give it up easily.
03:24Fraser.
03:25You can tell they've got a spring in their step.
03:27Want to move quickly, right.
03:28And to battle with Montagne.
03:33Fetty moves down.
03:34Montagne looks to the heavens for the free kick.
03:37Will be awarded.
03:39Very soft, isn't it?
03:41Against the Fetty.
03:42He's trying to protect the ball.
03:43Throws himself on top of it.
03:45It just comes from a heavy touch from Montagne.
03:48But there's much more urgency about Livingston.
03:51That's what will please Davey Martindale.
03:53This player's got the boost he wanted and they've certainly carried the fight.
04:00All the noises you can hear are coming from the Livingston fans outnumbered.
04:04And they've got a higher volume setting at the moment.
04:10Gearhead wins the header.
04:12In advance of them.
04:16I know whenever Ross County were leading 2-0, you'd say the next goal is crucial in the game.
04:19And it was.
04:21The next goal now.
04:23It's equally as crucial, isn't it?
04:24Because if Ross County get it, they get a little bit of breathing space again.
04:27If Livingston get it, then what?
04:30If Livingston get it, you would fancy them.
04:34Ross County trying to make something happen here.
04:36The turn of the snapshots.
04:39Just wouldn't sit down.
04:41Again, just need to settle down.
04:42They've not come out the dressing room.
04:45Composed.
04:46No, they've had no rhythm in the second half whatsoever.
04:50They haven't had any link-up play that they had in the first half.
04:52They haven't made enough passes.
04:53They haven't got hold of the ball.
04:56The goal against has really unnerved them.
05:02Excellent through Smith.
05:03Trying to find Pittman.
05:04Nightingale won the challenge.
05:07Inisbit.
05:13Inisbit, smallest man in the park.
05:16He'll chase through on this.
05:17He's been put through.
05:18Goalkeeper stayed on his line.
05:22Well, another opportunity falls the way of the Aussie.
05:26And he drifted himself through here.
05:28The ball was played through by Hale.
05:31And this is a real opportunity.
05:33I just wondered where the goalkeeper was.
05:35I initially thought that Ronan Hale had over-hit the ball.
05:38And that Preore was going to come and pick it up.
05:39I think the Livingston defenders thought that as well.
05:42But he just didn't have the running power, did he?
05:44His little legs were tying up as he got in there.
05:48I'm like, yeah, I was expecting the goalkeeper.
05:51It's a big chance.
05:53Nightingale.
05:56Gets the free kick.
05:59A round up.
06:01And that's what Livingston have to guard against.
06:03Yes, they're trailing by a single goal in the tie.
06:05And single goal on the night.
06:07But you don't want to leave yourself exposed too early.
06:09There's plenty of time left.
06:10Don't be getting caught by one simple ball over the top.
06:13Or one simple ball down the side.
06:14Because too many players have gambled forward and left big gaps.
06:18Do it in a good, structured way.
06:26Kelly.
06:29Okay, well Finlayson, that will be a goal kick.
06:32Do you know what I can't get?
06:33I can never fathom these things out.
06:35They have a free kick in the halfway line.
06:37And they play it to the furthest point away in the 18-yard box.
06:40So someone's then going to have to head it back across.
06:43Into the middle of the goal.
06:44Why not just put it into the middle of the goal?
06:46And allow your players to get around.
06:48Ring the edge of the box.
06:49If it drops, you may get a shut-off.
06:51But someone's having to win a header.
06:5230 yards from goal.
06:53Just trying to straighten it.
06:55It drives me mad.
06:56Footballers.
06:59They don't always execute the plan.
07:04There's the opportunity for Harmon to play it forward.
07:06There's the one-two with Hale.
07:07Harmon goes in.
07:08Pittman slides in.
07:09You speak to so many players,
07:10they love just lingering at the edge of the box.
07:12Trying to lose the man.
07:13Almost looking disinterested in the second the ball falls.
07:18Harmon's done.
07:19That's the bad news for Ross County.
07:21He has tried to continue.
07:25And he indicated across to the bench
07:27that he's got further problems.
07:30And the referee's saying,
07:32I need you off the pitch.
07:35And well, changes are going to come.
07:40It's not a great surprise, but Don Cowie
07:45wants George Harmon to try and continue for a moment or two.
07:47You don't want to be a man down no matter what.
07:50And it's the last game of the season.
07:52The referee said, you've got to go off for now.
07:55There's the handshake from Eli Campbell.
07:59Disappointment.
08:02Zach Ashworth will come off.
08:04Zach Ashworth will come off.
08:08Yeah, it's good for Don that he's got a direct replacement.
08:11The two of them changed positions.
08:13On Thursday.
08:33Oh,
09:03yeah.
09:33Yeah.
10:03Yeah.
10:04Yeah.
10:05Yeah.
10:06Yeah.
10:07Yeah.
10:08Yeah.
10:09Yeah.
10:10Yeah.
10:11Yeah.
10:12Yeah.
10:13Yeah.
10:14Yeah.
10:15Yeah.
10:16Yeah.
10:17Yeah.
10:18Yeah.
10:19Yeah.
10:20Yeah.
10:21Yeah.
10:22Yeah.
10:23Yeah.
10:24Yeah.
10:25Yeah.
10:26Yeah.
10:27Yeah.
10:28Yeah.
10:29Yeah.
10:30Yeah.
10:31Yeah.
10:32Yeah.
10:33Yeah.
10:34Yeah.
10:35Yeah.
10:36Yeah.
10:37Yeah.
10:38Yeah.
10:39Yeah.
10:40Yeah.
10:41Yeah.
10:42Yeah.
10:43Yeah.
10:44Yeah.
10:45Yeah.
10:46Yeah.
10:47Yeah.
10:48Yeah.
10:49Yeah.
10:50Yeah.
10:51Yeah.
10:52Yeah.
10:53Yeah.
10:54Yeah.
10:55Yeah.
10:56Yeah.
10:57Yeah.
10:58Yeah.
10:59Yeah.
11:00Yeah.
11:01That's the moment of magic to come.
11:20Gets himself ready, strikes at Lowe, goalkeeper with a save, Wilson!
11:25It's a brilliant double save, but it is in!
11:29Livingston have come from too behind to level,
11:33and what an evening it's been, and what a few days for Danny Wilson.
11:40It's had the feeling since half-time that it's been coming,
11:43they're the team that's been driving the game, forcing the game,
11:46they've been the aggressors.
11:48Initially Emesa has a really good save down to his left,
11:51he sees it late, he gets up, it's another terrific save,
11:54but Danny Wilson's alert, he's alive, he didn't get it in the first time,
11:58but he made sure he got it in the second time.
12:01Right foot and then head, just wrong foot Jordan Emesa,
12:04and now there's real question marks around the mentality
12:08and the mindset of these Ross County players,
12:11because Livingston are on the charge, they're chasing them down,
12:14they've got level, they will absolutely fancy the next 30-plus minutes in this game.
12:20They won't stop, they'll keep pushing forward, they'll keep asking questions,
12:24do Ross County have the answers? I'm not so sure.
12:28Well they looked down, they certainly were not out,
12:32and Ryan McGowan just explaining how him heading the head of Danny Wilson
12:36helped him score on that occasion, two apiece,
12:40and there's a VR check going on at the moment.
12:45Work for Steve McLean and Alan Mulvaney on VR,
12:51and these are nervous moments, let's have a look from the line.
12:55There's the ball, played in.
13:01Well, if he's offside, it is by millimetres,
13:05and he did so well.
13:08The thing is, he is the furthest Livingston player forward, isn't he?
13:11Does he lean into it? I'm not so sure.
13:14Again, it's hard unless you're directly in line with it,
13:17if you're looking at it from an angle it's difficult to see.
13:20The lines that will be put in will be exact,
13:24but the weight just adds to the drama, and the goal is given.
13:28The goal is given.
13:30Four Livingston, they've come from two down,
13:33it's two apiece, it's three each on aggregate.
13:37Ross County, we're in a terrific position,
13:41but how about that?
13:43It doesn't get much tighter than that.
13:46It doesn't, I mean, I think they've got the lines in Christian Mantegna.
13:52But it counts, that's all that matters for Livingston,
13:55the message from Davey Martindale will be get the next goal,
13:58get it back to 2-2, and then we'll really see
14:01what Ross County have on their locker.
14:03Oh, referee, not happy at that.
14:08I said at the start of the programme,
14:11Ross County, year one of the playoffs,
14:13they were 3-0 down on aggregate, came back and won on penalties.
14:18Last year, they won away from home against Wraith Rovers,
14:224-0 was nice and easy.
14:24We wondered if it would be a different script,
14:26but it's different so far.
14:29Here's White, into Nisbet.
14:33Hale, he had a great overlap, couldn't find him,
14:36Finlayson gets it away.
14:39And Daniel, free kicks awarded against Robbie Muirhead.
14:46I think it's a handball when it comes up to him,
14:48because he falls down, and you see here with his right arm,
14:51it's actually his left, he's playing volleyball, not football.
14:54But I have to say from this point,
14:56and it's a big call,
14:58I can't see how Ross County can turn this around.
15:00They've been so poor in the opening 15 minutes of the second half,
15:04with no cohesion, one break away from Josh Nisbet.
15:07But barring that, Livingston have been dominant in midfield
15:10as they were on Thursday night, and they've carried a real threat.
15:13No free kick, here's Muirhead, up against Nightingale.
15:18Muirhead again, ball into the middle, it's away by Akil Wright.
15:24Muirhead, plenty of support, it goes for the curl!
15:28Sensational, absolutely sensational from Livingston.
15:32Top goal scorer, Robbie Muirhead, goal 19 of the season,
15:36the pick of the bunch, they were 2-0 down,
15:39they lead by three goals to two,
15:41and it's now Livingston who are looking at the Scottish Premiership.
15:46Wow.
15:48Do you ever get a chance to have a look at Robbie Muirhead's
15:51goal scoring reel on YouTube or wherever it'll be?
15:54Some of them are absolutely sublime, some of them are ridiculous,
15:58and this is probably in that bracket.
16:01He sends a lovely ball into the back post, Akil Wright does really well,
16:04but well, Nightingale, he's heavy-legged, he doesn't move his feet,
16:07he allows Robbie Muirhead to open the goal up for himself,
16:10and there's only one thing in his mind, he knows what he wants to do,
16:13he puts so much curl on the ball, there's so much movement,
16:17it's a wonderfully constructive,
16:19it's a wonderfully constructive piece of brilliance from Robbie Muirhead,
16:24Jordan Amisa, 6'2", 6'3", cannot move,
16:27it's pinpoint, it's accurate,
16:30and Davey Martindale after 27 minutes thought his team were dead and buried,
16:34but boy, have they responded incredibly well.
16:41Well, this is a Livingston team not used to defeat,
16:44and they have come back from 2-0 down,
16:49to lead by three goals to two, 4-3 on aggregate.
16:53Still plenty of time for the home side,
16:56but everything is flowing in the way of Livingston at the moment,
17:00and where, oh, where is Don Cowie gonna get a match winner from?
17:04Well, how's he gonna inspire his players?
17:07First of all, he'd get back into the game,
17:10I think the 11 players in the pitch at the minute aren't gonna do it,
17:13he's gonna have to turn to his bench, he's gonna have to be inventive,
17:16or bring a player on who can make that difference,
17:19because Livingston are running all over the top of them,
17:22they're first every ball, they're picking up the scraps,
17:25they're running away from the Ross County players,
17:27there's only gonna be one outcome as it stands unless Don Cowie does something.
17:32This would be the most sensational comeback in a play-off since Ross County came,
17:37from 3-0 down on aggregate to level with Panic Thistle,
17:41and find themselves through on penalties.
17:47What a night in Dingle,
17:49Ronan Hale makes the better of things,
17:52here's the chance, it comes across, there it is!
17:54Zach Ashworth was waiting, couldn't finish,
17:58would have been his first County goal.
18:00Free kick, there might be more here,
18:03referee not happy at all.
18:08Referee will just camp things down,
18:10but that was a great chance for Zach Ashworth.
18:12Well it was, but the most experienced player in the Livingston team is Ryan McGowan.
18:18Just defend first and foremost,
18:21he gets caught trying to be fancy, trying to take it away from Ronan Hale,
18:24trying to dribble towards the goal line, just deal with it.
18:26You're not that kind of player, you're not good enough to do that,
18:28so just put it right and defend the throw.
18:30And Zach Ashworth, who's predominantly left-footed,
18:32for some reason chops back onto his right.
18:34Ryan McGowan's got a couple of teammates to thank for pulling him out of a hole,
18:38that would have been a real sucker punch.
18:42For Livingston, and Eli Campbell,
18:44just gets himself a yellow card.
18:47So Campbell, third player in the book.
18:52Don Tramarco, Don Cowie,
18:55the concern is etched all across.
19:00When there was a time Don Cowie looked five years younger,
19:03he now looks five years older.
19:07You've been here before, some of these players were here a couple of years ago,
19:10talking about against Partick Thistle, trailing in the game.
19:13But the whole momentum of the game has swung completely in favour of Livingston.
19:20They somehow need to stop the bleeding,
19:22they can't just keep giving up chances and not winning enough second balls.
19:25I spoke with the midfield, they've gone missing again.
19:29In the second half.
19:31George Harman, this is such a big miss for them.
19:34This might be a fetty.
19:36As soon as that ball goes out of play, the other ball is on the pitch,
19:38so they'll have to stop here.
19:42Mouzaki all right.
19:45Well, we thought there'd be goals!
19:47That's precisely what we've got.
19:49Three of the last four in Dingwall have been 3-2.
19:54Here's Nisbet.
19:56This opening goal seems an age away.
19:59Smith.
20:01Side to Pittman.
20:04Campbell.
20:06Sends it long.
20:08A little loose.
20:10A fetty.
20:16No, Kennett.
20:18Kennett, it's a decent ball through, chance!
20:21Connor Randall, Prior with a save.
20:23Not away yet!
20:25It's a poor ball across.
20:27It's Ron Prior with a good save from Connor Randall.
20:30I have to say, it's a hard one for Connor Randall to take,
20:32because the ball's coming over his shoulder.
20:34It's on the volley.
20:35He's going with the outside of his right foot.
20:37Hard to control.
20:38He's done well to get it on target.
20:40That's twice since Livingston put themselves ahead in the game.
20:43They've given up opportunities.
20:45They don't want to be giving Ross County any encouragement,
20:47but it's a good run from Connor Randall.
20:48He hasn't done enough.
20:50I just wonder, could he have went with his laces
20:52and actually struck through the ball?
20:53He's trying to cushion it in.
20:55Great technique from him, but another smart save.
20:57Ron Prior.
20:59Well, here's the change.
21:01Kefety is off.
21:03Alex Samuel is on.
21:06Well, that's an attacking change.
21:08Let's see how they shuffle.
21:10I'm either thinking it's going to be a back four,
21:12or Connor Randall will probably come and play as a right wing back.
21:15It looks like he is.
21:17Nisbet will go in and play in midfield alongside
21:22Noah Kennett and Ron Prior.
21:25Noah Kennett and Ronan Hale probably may play as a number 10.
21:30It's a risk having that as your midfield too.
21:32I think Connor Randall is combining a feast.
21:35A real competitor in there.
21:36To take him out of that midfield area is a risk.
21:42Connor Randall
21:44out making the break.
21:49Sends it for Samuel.
21:51Under pressure, Robson does well.
21:55Samuel tries to get away.
21:56Here's Hale.
21:57Goes down.
21:58Under the challenge.
22:01What a playoff Danny Wilson is having.
22:04He brings such experience, former international player.
22:07He's been there, he's seen it done out with hearts with Rangers.
22:12One of the few players to win the Scottish Premier League,
22:14the League Cup, the Scottish Cup and the League Challenge Cup.
22:17It doesn't happen often.
22:19It's a real challenge.
22:20And now he's looking to add a playoff final to that list.
22:25I have to say the response from Ross County, I didn't see coming.
22:28They've had two really good goalscoring opportunities since it went behind.
22:32So they're showing a little bit of fight.
22:34They're fighting for their lives to stay in the premiership.
22:37The performance has to reflect that.
22:40Jack Ashworth plays it in.
22:42The header bumped into the ground by Will Knight.
22:45He's got the ball.
22:46Jack Ashworth plays it in.
22:48The header bumped into the ground by Will Knight and Gale.
22:55He looks like a player, and I hate saying it,
22:57he's played like a player.
22:59There's been some moments in the games that has missed a long part of the season.
23:03That sharpness, that crispness that players have had over a period of 15, 20 games.
23:08He's been playing catch-up Paul, coming in to try and do a job.
23:12He'll probably feel it himself.
23:14Been out for such a long time.
23:16From August to May.
23:20Livingston.
23:21A little uncomfortable at the back, so the long ball will be played away.
23:24Teddy Yenge is getting ready to come on.
23:26There's the long ball through to Robbie Muirhead.
23:27Muirhead held off by Knight and Gale.
23:30He's going to have to move that away.
23:31Montano goes in there.
23:34Almost out of nothing, Livingston created something.
23:39And it's great for us because the game is wide open.
23:41It's not great for the managers.
23:42They'll be turning their hair out because it's too open probably for them.
23:45But it's a wonderful game to watch.
23:46There's lots of space for players to play in.
23:51Campbell turned on that occasion.
23:53Ashworth under pressure.
23:54Doesn't have the luxury of going back to his keeper.
23:57Dealt with it well.
24:03It's not really a ball a goalkeeper wants coming back to him.
24:08Two on the right side.
24:10Sends it away.
24:13Robbie Fraser.
24:16Back to the Rompreor.
24:1929-year-old enjoying his first season of Scottish football.
24:28Ashworth wanted movement.
24:29Didn't see any.
24:32Alex Samuel.
24:33Did he go too early?
24:34Two Livingston defenders wanted offside.
24:38McKenna.
24:40Looks good but doesn't get you anywhere.
24:43On to Jordan White.
24:46Alex Samuel.
24:48Samuel turns, twists.
24:50Gets the shot away.
24:53Rompreor is there.
24:54It's better from Ross Kenty again.
24:56Good patient build-up.
24:58Link-up play between the strikers.
25:00But I just think when he skips inside, he's got to go for the near post.
25:03The goalkeeper's covering that area.
25:05He's got to try and go across him.
25:06It may take a deflection.
25:07Preor may palm it back into the middle of the goal.
25:10And you've got Ronald Hill sniffing about.
25:13Good build-up but wrong choice.
25:30Mantegna held up well.
25:34Smith.
25:35Round the corner.
25:36Mantegna.
25:37On to the left foot.
25:38Curled it in.
25:39Muirhead was waiting for it.
25:40Conor Randall had to track him back.
25:44And he's suddenly become a danger again.
25:46After that goal, he's looking for everything.
25:48You're steady, Young.
25:50I just think Robbie Muirhead has to head that.
25:53He's trying to let it drop onto his left foot so he can get a strike.
25:56I think it's easier if he goes and meets it with his head.
25:58But Christian Mantegna, he's a workhorse.
26:01He charges up and down the left-hand side.
26:02A lot of his work doesn't get noticed.
26:05But he's been a real handful in the two games.
26:07He can be proud of his performance.
26:08And Terry Yenge coming on just brings something different.
26:12He's got pace. He's got physicality.
26:13He's good in the air.
26:14He gets goals.
26:16It doesn't get any easier for Ross County.
26:20Mantegna.
26:2140th appearance of the season gives way to Terry Yenge.
26:26Off the bench for the 12th time in the League Grand Playoffs.
26:30Time now against Ross County.
26:32Alex Samuel tries to barrel his way through there.
26:36And he's going to barrel his way against Brandon.
26:39He may have gone down.
26:41When he gets himself back up, he'll realise he's gone against him.
26:47Yeah, he's a bit of a battering ram, isn't he?
26:49Alex Samuel just ploughs through people.
26:52And I know he's got good physical strength and good power.
26:55And I know he's got good physical strength and good power.
26:58But I think he has to learn when to use it.
27:02You can't just bump into players and knock them out of the way.
27:05You're just relieving any kind of pressure that's starting to build up.
27:09The man from Neath, well-known for the rugby union.
27:12Certainly looked like he'd done a little bit of practice in that coat.
27:18Well-travelled Alex Samuel.
27:19Swansea, Stevenage, Wiccan Wanderers.
27:25And now the 29-year-old trying to find a way to help Ross County.
27:30And at the moment, Ross County would take their place in the Scottish Championship.
27:34Being replaced by Livingstone.
27:43Smith again, causing problems.
27:45Muirhead!
27:48Well, it was a good chance.
27:51Lewis Smith, once again, the catalyst, winning the ball.
27:54Creating the space, feeding it into the top goal scorer.
27:58I just think he was trying to let the ball run across him a little bit more.
28:01He had to take a shot on.
28:02I think he was being closed down by a defender.
28:04But he came alive in the second half.
28:06Robbie Muirhead, he really has made such a difference.
28:08First half, I thought he was kept under wraps very well by County.
28:12But not in the second half.
28:19Fraser.
28:21Played through beautifully.
28:23Denny Yenge almost in there.
28:25Brought by another Aussie.
28:29Australia, big and small.
28:34Here's Wilson.
28:37McGowan.
28:51Pip.
28:59It's good from Livingstone, just spending some time in the ball.
29:01Trying to take a sting out of the game.
29:03Ross County want the ball to be in play.
29:05They want the gun up and down.
29:06They want a battle, they want a scrap.
29:08Still chasing the game.
29:09They don't want Livingstone dictating possession and slowing the game up.
29:15Wilson.
29:17This is Livingstone's side, riddled with experience.
29:22Off right.
29:24Doesn't want to play it.
29:25Going to have to.
29:28To Denny Yenge.
29:29Makes the referee's decision a fairly easy one.
29:31Can kick Ross County.
29:33Does well to chase it down.
29:35Davey Martindale will be furious because he's got him in a good position.
29:38He's probably just going to kick the ball out of play.
29:40And then you just go and bundle into the back of him.
29:42Don't allow your ego to get the better of you.
29:44Think about a professional decision.
29:49Livingstone thinking about another change.
29:53Made one so far.
29:56Fraser away.
30:03Nightingale under pressure from Muirhead.
30:07Did well.
30:08It's been won by Kelly.
30:09And Muirhead steps inside.
30:11A kill right.
30:13Coming back.
30:22It's a free kick and a yellow card.
30:28He was very quick with the yellow card as well, wasn't he?
30:33Yeah.
30:35The thing is, he's not looking at him.
30:36He's not throwing the elbow.
30:37He's just searching for him.
30:39It's a little bit unfortunate.
30:40Is it a yellow card?
30:41I don't know.
30:42It's certainly a free kick.
30:43I'll give him that.
30:46He'll dust himself down.
30:51Stevie May getting ready to come on.
30:57Livingstone away this season.
30:5824 away goals in 18 league games.
31:00He scored 55 goals at home.
31:04And they were matched pretty well at home.
31:08Robbie Muirhead's going to be withdrawn.
31:10And if that's his last action this season,
31:13well, he'll dream of that.
31:16Months to come.
31:18Will that be the decisive moment?
31:19Will that be the goal that takes Livingstone back to the Scottish Premiership?
31:24Selfishly inside, Robbie Muirhead will be thinking,
31:26I hope so.
31:28Because he gets all the glory in his name.
31:31It'll be in the back of the papers tomorrow.
31:35Ross County,
31:36they'll be so disappointed if they lose 2-0 up in the game.
31:39Looking comfortable to get to this stage.
31:45Ross County in a regular season lost four times.
31:49In the 14 matches in which they scored first in the Scottish Premiership.
31:54They won half those games, 7 of 14.
32:002-0.
32:01Having done the hard work at Livingstone,
32:03won a piece, 2-0 ahead.
32:05As the Premiership side,
32:07everything was in their favour.
32:09And the results of Livingstone,
32:11it's been outstanding.
32:13No way through for White.
32:19Yeah, the response from Livingstone was top class.
32:22It took them a little while to find their feet after conceding the second goal.
32:25They lost their way a little bit.
32:27But once Lewis Smith gave them hope,
32:29they haven't looked back.
32:30There's Alex Samuel trying to get away from Danny Wilson.
32:35Wilson made contact with the ball.
32:37The referee acknowledged that fact.
32:40Alex Samuel could only look back.
32:42Not in anger, but in bemusement.
32:47It's his touch.
32:48His touch allows Danny Wilson to make the tackle.
32:50He takes his touch towards him.
32:51Look, it's a heavy touch inside.
32:53If he knocks it straight, Danny Wilson's not getting there.
32:56But he gives him an opportunity.
32:57Danny Wilson goes to go into his last ditch.
32:59He knows he has to lunge in and hope to get it.
33:01He gets a little bit lucky.
33:03But Alex Samuel's got to hope he gets another chance.
33:11Smith did well.
33:12Stevie May.
33:15May on the inside towards Pittman.
33:16There's the chance for Denny Yenge.
33:19Swiped over it.
33:21That was nearly the end for Ross Kenty.
33:26Samuel, that's a free kick.
33:27Free kick.
33:31It's amazing here, these moments.
33:32You know, you're almost like Denny Yenge.
33:34He might have finished it off.
33:37And all of a sudden, it's
33:38Livingstone have to defend a free kick.
33:41It's loose defending again from Ross Kenty.
33:43Now, I can't talk for the full season, but
33:46certainly since he went 2-0 up in this game,
33:48their defending has really
33:50left a lot to be desired.
33:52They haven't been good enough.
33:53They've looked like, particularly the three centre-halves,
33:55they've looked like three individuals.
33:57You've got to hope that someone at the top end of the pitch
33:59can pull them out of a hole.
34:03Ashworth.
34:04Plays it in.
34:09Floats that one up too close to the goalkeeper.
34:14No James Brown available for Ross Kenty.
34:16No Ryan Leake either.
34:18There are defensive options
34:22not available.
34:25I'm not too sure there's much else
34:27on the box left for
34:29sorry, on the bench for Don Cowie to turn to.
34:31But that's that strike from Terry Yenge.
34:33It was always going to be a difficult one for him.
34:35It was straight at him.
34:36There was no real angle on the ball.
34:46In case you're wondering, away goes.
34:48Didn't count anything special
34:51in Ross Kenty equalising.
34:52We're four apiece.
34:53We will go to extra time.
34:57We did wonder
34:59third season in a row for Ross Kenty,
35:01would they have enough?
35:04Would they do it again?
35:05And as it stands at this moment in time,
35:07they're making hard work.
35:09They only need a goal to get that.
35:11It can happen very quickly but
35:13it's going to have to come.
35:17Changes are coming.
35:19It is Phillips who will replace
35:23and on he comes.
35:25Nightingale is gone.
35:28So Kieran Phillips,
35:29two goals this season.
35:32Didn't play in the first leg
35:33and featured in the previous 17.
35:35So he's got plenty of game time.
35:40That will certainly be a change of shape.
35:42That will be to a back four.
35:43Where Kieran Phillips will play,
35:44I'm not so sure but
35:47they'll go to a back four
35:48and get an extra man in midfielder
35:49further up the pitch.
35:54Livingston are nine minutes
35:55plus stoppage time away
35:57from a return at the first time of asking
36:00to the Scottish Premiership.
36:03He holds up well.
36:06Ross Kenty, five seasons consecutive
36:08in the top flight.
36:09Is that coming to an end?
36:13In all honesty,
36:14over the two legs,
36:16Livingston have been the better team.
36:18They haven't just had a slight edge.
36:19There's been quite a difference
36:20in their style of play,
36:21their creativity,
36:22their flair,
36:23their variation in play.
36:24They've been so much better.
36:28Stevie May, I think he's offside.
36:31That is the call.
36:33So it wouldn't be viewed in my eyes
36:35as being a lucky result
36:36or getting a couple of breaks.
36:39They've been so much better.
36:42Well done, Cowie.
36:45Too covert.
36:47And his boss.
36:49Well for them,
36:50he has won the Championship League Challenge Cup
36:53with Ross Kenty.
36:55He was a player.
36:58He was a manager, well,
36:59since February 2024.
37:02This game number 63.
37:05It's been a tough time.
37:06Just 19 wins.
37:12With every passing minute,
37:14Livingston
37:16try to find a way
37:17try to find their way forward again.
37:20And it comes on to Pittman.
37:22Kennett did really well.
37:23Can he get it away?
37:27That attack comes from
37:28Ronan here not having the ability
37:29to hold the ball up.
37:30Being sloppy and being loose.
37:32That's all it comes from.
37:34Here's Teddy Yenge.
37:35Corner.
37:36Second of the half.
37:38The tenth of the match
37:39for Livingston.
37:41And these fans have made that
37:42long journey up
37:43from West Lothian.
37:45At the moment,
37:46it's all been worthwhile.
37:50I have to say,
37:51the atmosphere they've generated
37:52here tonight
37:53and the numbers have travelled in.
37:54They don't traditionally travel
37:55in big numbers.
37:56But they know the importance
37:57of this game.
37:59They wanted to be here
38:01in case it is a monumental night
38:03for the club.
38:04And as it sits at the minute,
38:06they're on the brink
38:07of returning to the Scottish Premier League
38:09after one season away.
38:10And I'm sure Davey Martindale
38:11would look at this
38:12as being one of his
38:13biggest achievements in football.
38:14They're not there yet.
38:16But they're certainly
38:17heading that way.
38:21So much potentially
38:22still to happen.
38:24Kelly
38:25sends it deep.
38:26It's a free hitter!
38:28And Livingston
38:29somehow don't convert
38:30and Roche County survive.
38:36Hale.
38:39He's got hit away by Pittman
38:40but he'll come back
38:41to Ronan Hale.
38:42Hale driving through
38:43as to step inside.
38:44Still going.
38:45Tries the shot.
38:47Just a little whiff
38:48of desperation about it.
38:50I know he scored
38:51a few spectacular goals
38:52in his career
38:53but that was overambitious
38:54for me.
38:55I think Kieran Phillips
38:56was to his left-hand side.
38:57It may have been easier
38:58to fade it out to him
38:59and try and make something happen.
39:00I understand he wants
39:01to take a little bit
39:02of responsibility
39:03but don't be naive.
39:07It'll be a free kick.
39:10Well the Highlands
39:11who for quite a long time
39:12enjoyed two teams
39:13in the top flight.
39:14Jimenez, Callie Thistle
39:15and Roche County.
39:18Callie Thistle
39:20they've tumbled down
39:22the divisions
39:23and at the moment
39:24Roche County look like
39:25they'll be exiting as well.
39:27Here comes Michael Nottingham.
39:34And Macaulay Tate.
39:36Well Lewis Smith
39:37what a night
39:39he has had.
39:42Two performances
39:44in these
39:45Premiership
39:46Playoff Finals
39:47that will attract
39:48attention from others
39:49I'm sure.
39:51And Stephen Kelly
39:52also withdrawn.
39:59This is just trying
40:00to shore things up.
40:01Yeah I think he's decided
40:02Michael Nottingham
40:03whether he'll play
40:04and hold a midfield position
40:05or whether he'll go in
40:06and make it a back three
40:07I'm not so sure
40:08but certainly his presence
40:09his experience
40:10will be there
40:11just to make sure
40:12they don't concede.
40:14First touch.
40:15Good sub.
40:16It's not what you want.
40:18It's not the start he was
40:19looking for.
40:22Although to be fair
40:23it's an awkward position
40:24to be put in
40:25for your first touch.
40:28First corner of the second half
40:29for Roche County.
40:30Second of the match
40:31Ronan Hale.
40:36Delivery is key
40:37it's swung in
40:38that comes off the back
40:39of McGowan.
40:41The header came from right
40:43that's Phillips going down.
40:46There's Connor Randall.
40:49Roche County led
40:50by two to nil.
40:51Livingston have scored
40:52three unanswered goals.
40:54Leading on the night.
40:56Leading on aggregate.
40:5911 to nil.
41:00Nottingham stretches.
41:02Stevie May.
41:04Teddy Yenge can't get there.
41:05Came off Kennett.
41:07McEwerite.
41:08Connor Randall says
41:09I'll have that.
41:10There's a little chip ball
41:11on the angle
41:12it's too close
41:13to the goalkeeper.
41:16And the sands
41:17of
41:19Roche County's time
41:21in the Scottish Premiership
41:22are leaking out
41:23the hourglass
41:24as we speak.
41:26They are
41:27Don Cowie's made the subs
41:28and tried to make
41:29something happen.
41:30They haven't really carried
41:31a threat since that happened.
41:33They had the two big chances.
41:35All the way through the middle.
41:37And he said we'll gather.
41:43Ashworth.
41:47Comes down to Phillips.
41:49Phillips.
41:50Lines it off.
41:51Danny Wilson.
41:54Has been given away as well
41:55onto Stevie May.
42:03That's actually been
42:04a feature of their play
42:05in Roche County.
42:06Over the two games.
42:08Sloppy passes.
42:09Giving the ball away
42:10when there's no pressure
42:11on people.
42:13Livingston have just
42:14looked more assured.
42:16Clearly they've won more games
42:17they feel more confident
42:18but even their style
42:19of play
42:20their identity
42:21is much more evident
42:22than what Roche County's is.
42:24Roche County won
42:25the first four matches
42:26of the season
42:27all in the League Cup.
42:28Since then they've won
42:299 of 41 games.
42:31And that's knocked
42:32out of play.
42:33Livingston have lost
42:348 games this season.
42:36This is match number 53.
42:41Roche County.
42:42They've taken the lead
42:43a couple of times at home
42:44in recent times
42:45and been unable to get
42:46over the line.
42:47And it's a similar tale
42:48tonight.
42:52Just for anyone
42:54watching for the first time
42:55it's not unusual
42:56for Davey Martindale
42:57to look bemused.
42:58It could be the
42:59simplest of things
43:00but
43:02such is his drive
43:03and his passion
43:04for Livingston
43:05and for football.
43:07He wants to take them
43:08back up
43:09and he's on the verge
43:10of giving up.
43:12As that will go
43:13well wide.
43:14It'll be interesting
43:15if Livingston
43:16do hold on to it.
43:17Ask Ryan McGowan
43:18ask Danny Wilson
43:19where does this rank?

43:29I think later in their career
43:30you look back
43:31and see what you achieved
43:32and what worked for you
43:33and what you enjoyed the most
43:34but
43:35that will certainly feel

43:37and they'll celebrate it
43:38like they've never
