00:19If you can walk us through the match today, what do you think was the key?
00:22Yeah, it was a good match. He's a great player, very experienced player.
00:27I had to find the rhythm. I thought I started well, then I had a little bit of a dip, but then once we did start the second set,
00:35I raised my level and kept going, just build it set by set and found some good tennis at the end.
00:41Hello Holger, congratulations. How was that experience on Court 7?
00:46It was really noisy because Artur Cazot was playing in the beginning of the match. How was that experience for you?
00:53Yeah, it was very noisy, very different conditions than I practiced in the whole week and also it's been a while.
01:03It's been actually since US Open where I was complaining about it many, many years ago that I played on this kind of court.
01:09But, you know, energy was nice. I played there also my first round as a junior when I won here, so hopefully that can be a good thing.
01:18But, yeah, no, it's okay. I mean, I got through, that's the most important.
01:23Yeah, do you mind being out on a court like that?
01:26I mean, I prefer definitely a bigger court, but as I spoke to also, the ATP today was tough because we had Gasquet,
01:32who was potentially his last match and, you know, Stan, defending champion, a lot of top seeders like Senacalos.
01:37So it was difficult, but, yeah, I mean, it is what it is.
01:42And how are you feeling about your game generally right now?
01:44Yeah, I mean, it's always difficult to say, you know, before the match there's obviously some doubts and everything
01:51because you don't know where exactly your level is. I've been practicing well, but it's different.
01:56So, yeah, honestly, I felt okay. You know, first match is always tricky, but I think I did, you know, after the first set I played three, you know, very, very solid sets.
02:07And, again, he's a great player, you know, he's very, very experienced and he knows how to play, you know, Grand Slam tennis.
02:13He's, you know, like consuming his energy well over these long matches and I think so did I.
02:19I was a bit stressed in the first set, but I managed to de-stress and found some more good tennis and more aggressive tennis throughout the match.
02:27Do you know much about your next opponent?
02:29Yeah, I know him. We played actually in the future once a long, long time ago.
02:33He's a very explosive player, very aggressive player. Yeah, we know each other a bit from juniors.
02:39I think he's maybe two years older than me.
02:42Good player. What sort of strengths does he have?
02:44Big serve, as I remember. He wants to go big on a lot of shots. That's what I remember.
02:49Maybe he's changed a bit, but we're definitely going to look into that, look more into the tactics,
02:55his percentage here and there and his game style. But, yeah, that's all for tomorrow.
03:04Bye.
