00:17Well, my first main draw appearance, I'm feeling really good.
00:23I had some really good matches here in Paris, and it's strange because I came here for my first time in three years,
00:33so it's like a déjà vu sometimes.
00:37I went to Suzanne Le Goulin, and that was where we stayed in juniors,
00:43and it was my first time here in Philippe-Châtre, so it was super nice,
00:47and yeah, happy to play my first match here as a pro.
00:53English questions first?
00:55English or Portuguese?
00:57In English, sure.
00:59Fonsei, Carlo, Follet-San parle brésil.
01:03Podemos facer de poes en portugués, antes en ingles.
01:07Okay, but I could ask in English.
01:09Okay.
01:11Hi there, Joao.
01:14I just wonder, how do you handle the amount of attention that you get
01:20for such a young, new player as a professional?
01:23It's a lot.
01:24I just wonder how you find the experience.
01:28How do I handle it?
01:30Enjoy it?
01:31I'm just enjoying my career life.
01:35I'm reaching some good things.
01:38I'm young, so I'm learning every week.
01:42I'll try my best.
01:43I try to focus on my routine, what I need to do, focus on good people on my side,
01:54helping me achieve good things.
01:56So, I like learning every week how to adapt.
02:01But, yeah, things are getting on their own path.
02:06So, yeah, just focus on my routines and play my tennis.
02:11You mentioned there a couple of times about learning and how important that is.
02:14Just wondered what you learned from your Australian Open run
02:17that maybe you can take into this tournament.
02:20Well, I think it was the biggest stadium that I ever played.
02:24And, yeah, it was my first top ten player that I played against.
02:31And the crowd was huge.
02:33So, I mean, I learned how to play in those stadiums.
02:37It was an experience for me, my first main draw.
02:41So, yeah, I think after Australia, a lot changed.
02:46And, yeah, now I'm a bit more experienced in all those type of circumstances.
02:55Hi, Charles.
02:56Danish TV.
02:57I have a question about Elmer Møller, who you played in Madrid.
03:00The young guy from Denmark, who's known for having a lethal backhand.
03:06Very special playing style.
03:07I was just wondering, now you're the only one who's played an ATP match.
03:11Actually, that was his first tournament.
03:13One loss to you.
03:14I was just wondering the approach tactically, how you approach that.
03:19Well, first, I talked to my coach and the first thing that he said was about his backhand.
03:25It was huge.
03:26It seemed like he was a lefty.
03:28And the other thing was that I was the younger one, but I was a bit more experienced than him.
03:35And that was the first time that I felt a little bit more experienced than him on those kind of stadiums, those kind of tournaments.
03:43And, yeah, it was strange of my part, but I handled really well on the match.
03:49So, yeah, happy for this match.
03:52I played a really good match.
03:53And, yeah, I thought he was a little bit more nervous.
03:56Like I stayed in my first tournaments, my first big tournaments.
04:03Hi, Jao.
04:05How is your confidence level at this point?
04:08And what have you been doing to sort of keep it high or try and get it high coming into a major tournament like this?
04:17Feeling good, having some good practices, winning sets, again, very good players.
04:24And, yeah, feeling good.
04:26I know tennis, I'm understanding that tennis is a sport like every other sport that you have ups and downs.
04:36You're not going to stay up every time.
04:39There's going to be some times you're not feeling very confident and you need to handle.
04:44But at the same time, I'm feeling very confident.
04:48I'm playing really well.
04:51And, yeah, so it's my first time here.
04:54So it's another experience.
04:56And like I said, I want to learn every week.
04:59Hi, Jao.
05:02Just wondering, at this stage in your career, what do you consider your best surface?
05:08I say because I was born on clay, I'll say clay.
05:14But after the last year that I played a lot on hard, I played seven months so hard directly.
05:23I am kind of more adapted to hard also.
05:27But the surface that I want to play best is grass.
05:31So it's like a mix.
05:33Has there been a particular challenge for you playing on clay on like ATP tour level versus on hard on tour level?
05:42Like, has that just been different for you?
05:45I mean, I don't know because I actually don't know because I play good in clay.
05:58I played one week that I won in Buenos Aires.
06:01And then after, I changed to hard again because I was in Miami.
06:05And then after, I changed to clay again.
06:07So, yeah, I felt my head in the beginning of the clay tournament that was more into hard.
06:16So, I was playing on clay like I needed to play on hard.
06:22And my head was like mixing a little bit.
06:25And then now I'm adapting a little bit more.
06:28And then I start to do mood for me.
06:30So, yeah.
06:31And then I see in the 60s.
06:36Just so kenera, you'll have a perfect setup though.
06:40And then you just take a picture of meretikkely
06:45that you knew it was not so just me.
06:47I'll check out the checked out.
06:49And the監視 is also such a thing I really want to try another day.
06:53Hold it fast.
06:55Take care.
