00:09Behind these doors lies one of the world's leading manufacturers of small arms, FN Browning.
00:16The company opened its doors to Euronews to explain the keys to its success, since it
00:21supplies almost all NATO armies.
00:24Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, FN Browning has been in the spotlight, attracting
00:29government interest as the company also produces ammunition and integrated weapons systems.
00:35To give you an example, in June 2024, FNR-STAL signed a contract for 20 years with the
00:42Belgian Defense.
00:43For 20 years, we are going to produce all the small calibre munitions from the Belgian Defense.
00:48This type of partnership is fundamental because it gives us a long-term visibility.
00:52Concretely, since we have the commitment of the Belgian Defense to provide small calibre munitions
00:58auprès de notre entreprise, nous pouvons investir dans une nouvelle ligne de production.
01:01To stand out from the competition, FN Browning depends on the reliability of its equipment.
01:06While robots and machines are used to manufacture components, each part is checked by hand.
01:12Through its Rearm Europe plan, the EU aims to encourage cooperation between the 27 member
01:18states.
01:19FN Browning's clientele is also European, and FN Browning is seeking to strengthen this
01:24continental base.
01:25FN Browning is taking advantage of the political momentum generated by the European Union's
01:26800 billion euro rearmement plan.
01:37The company, which has 3,000 employees, is hoping to make the most of the European preference.
01:44The Belgian company claims that 90% of its suppliers are located on the continent.
02:02FN Browning is also European, and FN Browning has worked for a while.
