A spell of heavy rain will make its way eastwards across central and southern Scotland, Wales, and northern, central and western England before clearing by the early hours of tomorrow, leaving spells of clear skies and for western Scotland, blustery showers also. Feeling generally mild but may feel a tad chillier across some areas of eastern Scotland.

00:00Hello, well I hope you've had a lovely bank holiday weekend. We have got rain still in
00:06the forecast and welcome rainfall for many of us. And taking a look at the bigger picture
00:10we've got an area of low pressure clearing its way through this evening and overnight
00:14to be replaced by another area of low pressure. So wet and windy conditions for some of us
00:19on Tuesday before a ridge of higher pressure develops on Wednesday. So probably the better
00:26day of the week if you want to get out and about during the half term. So back to the
00:32rest of this evening then we have a spell of heavy rain pushing its way eastwards affecting
00:36northern England, Wales the south west and clearing its way towards the south east of England through
00:42the early hours. Behind that clearer spells developing with frequent blustery showers pushing into
00:48western Scotland once again. Otherwise temperatures not going to be falling too low tonight ranging
00:556 to 12 degrees but could be chilly in some spots across eastern areas of Scotland.
01:01So as we start Tuesday morning largely dry and bright for many of us. Still some frequent
01:06showers across western Scotland but turning increasingly unsettled down towards the south
01:11and west with heavy spells of rain pushing into northern Ireland, into Wales, southwest England,
01:16the Midlands, northern England later and eventually reaching the south and east. It's going to be
01:21over the hills in the west so Exmoor, Dartmoor, parts of Wales and also the south Pennines. Across Scotland
01:29though much brighter here still with a case of sunny spells and some frequent showers. It's going to be
01:35windy too but highs generally ranging from 15 to 17 degrees. So as we go through Tuesday evening all of this cloud
01:45and rain will eventually start clearing its way eastwards leaving some cloud behind. Clearer skies across
01:52Scotland again with a few showers here but otherwise temperatures aren't going to be falling too low
01:57either. Very similar lows of 6 to 12 degrees. So as we start Wednesday morning there will be some cloud
02:06around first thing across central parts of England and into Wales but that will gradually start lifting,
02:11breaking and then well it's a case of sunny spells and further scattered showers. Now not everywhere
02:17is going to see those showers especially out towards the west perhaps turning a little bit drier
02:22into the afternoon. Otherwise feeling pleasant in any sunny breaks up to 20 or 21 degrees.
02:30That is all from me for now but there is a week ahead forecast on YouTube so make sure to hit
02:34subscribe so you don't miss that and I'll see you very soon. Bye bye.
