Skywind ist ein Remake von The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind in der Engine des Nachfolgers Skyrim, das komplett von Fans entwickelt wird. Zum Release können wir die Neuauflage dann kostenlos spielen, wenn wir Skyrim und Morrowind besitzen.
In einem neuen Video zeigen die Entwickler jetzt ihre Fortschritte und Ausschnitte aus einer bereits fertig implementierten Quest, in der wir einen daedrischen Schrein besuchen. Nach den 18 Minuten Gameplay lassen uns die Entwickler außerdem einen Blick auf ihre Fortschritte werfen: Inzwischen wurden etwa fast alle der etwa 3.000 NPCs neu vertont! In anderen Bereichen geht es langsamer, aber stetig voran. Weiterhin suchen die Modder außerdem fleißige Helfer, die bei den verschiedensten Aufgaben helfen.
Im Gegensatz zum Schwesterprojekt Skyblivion hat Skywind noch keinen Release-Zeitraum angekündigt. Wir werden also höchstwahrscheinlich noch längere Zeit auf das Remake warten müssen.
