00:00When you introduced me, you talked of the Indian civil services.

00:03Half of India's population is dying to get into those services, particularly the IAS.

00:10Why exactly do we want that power?

00:12There are so many people who crave for power.

00:15Honestly, don't you know what they want to do with that power?

00:18You will say you want that power to do good to the society because you want to bring in positive changes,

00:22you want to change the face of the nation and such things.

00:25But look at the ground reality.

00:26Look at who we really are.

00:28Look at our animal instincts.

00:29You give us our power and all we do with it is destruction.

00:34My intent is pure.

00:35My intent is innocent.

00:37No guilt at all.

00:38Whose intent?

00:39Intention is something subtle.

00:41It occurs in the mind.

00:43So it's easy to lie about the intention.

00:47About the action you cannot lie.

00:49It's right there in your face with proof.

00:51So what do we do?

00:52We say, oh yeah, I know the action is bad and the results are bad.

00:57But the intent was good.
