An Airbus H145 helicopter, registration LX-HLP, operated by Luxembourg’s air rescue service, made an emergency landing on a road after colliding with trees during takeoff. The incident occurred on the morning of May 23, 2025, between the cities of Notum and Bavin.

According to preliminary reports, the aircraft was conducting a medical evacuation mission to assist victims of a traffic accident when it struck tree branches near the takeoff site. The crew managed to land the helicopter safely on the road.

Local media confirmed that four people were on board — none were injured. At the time of the incident, no patients were being transported.
