00:00And now shifting focus, Bangladesh was once again facing political turmoil.
00:05On Saturday, Interim Government Chief Mohamed Yunus called an urgent meeting of his Advisory Council
00:10to discuss growing tensions between the administration, political parties and the military.
00:15After the meeting, Yunus and his aides warned that if they continued to face unreasonable demands,
00:21they would take public-supported action.
00:24They also blamed defeated forces and foreign conspiracies for disrupting the government's work
00:29and also spreading confusion among the public.
00:32The meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council
00:35focused on the Interim Government's three main goals,
00:38which include holding elections, implementing reforms and ensuring justice.
00:43Several political parties, including the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and the New National Citizen Party,
00:48have urged the Interim Government to release a clear roadmap for the national elections.
00:53It was confirmed after the meeting that Yunus would continue as the head of the Interim Government.
00:58Muhammad Yunus has also met with the leader of Jamaat.
